Hello,

A year ago I stared using the ASRock H81 PRO BTC REV 1 with 6 cards.
Now I changed to the ASRock H81 PRO BTC REV 2 board and I only get 5 cards wokring.

My Setup:

Linux 16.04
Claymore ETH Miner
2 X 1200 Watt Powersupply
Cards: R9 390 RX 480
Latest AMD Pro driver

The Miner strats with the six cards and after some second the last installed cards crashes. Miner shows "GPU 1 hangs in OpenCL call, exit"

GPU0 t=79C fan=88%, GPU1 t=63C fan=67%, GPU2 t=74C fan=72%, GPU3 t=73C fan=68%, GPU4 t=72C fan=61%, GPU5 t=69C fan=50%

The Cards are all OK, I have checked them one by one.

Also tested powered riser, no effect.

I have the same effect on two rigs, both the REV 2 board.

Do you have any idea?

thx

Michael

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.
