Then go to coinmarketcap.com
It has the list of top crytocurrency in the market. From highest to lowest rank. To highest price, to lowest price. And to highest supply and volume to lowest. Why you ask? Hope it helps you finding the right coin and decide to buy. Or visit exchange sites. Kraken, bittrex, poloniex or yobit. You will see the favorite cryptos which used by traders.

Coinmarketcap is a great site, you can change to your local currency, not only altcoins but it also lists assets and tokens.

The site's are already mentioned and I find coinmarketcap.com will always be the best and reliable site for it. It's the one that I've been visiting when seeing a new coin for doing some checking of its market cap and how much it holds regarding it's investment. If this not satisfy you, kindly put what other features of that site that the given ones doesn't have.

add these worldcoinindex, which is good as an alternative and cryptocompare, they are both decent site if coinamerketcap is down for whatever reason, and remember that coinmarketcap is not with all the altcoin in existence, there many other that are unknown and forgotten but have still a value

Everybody is pointing on coinmarketcap and Coingecko,they are the only two I know that shows the complete detail and rank of all the altcoin,but of course I also want to know more and new site set up,this is for comparison purpose and this is good for the community..

How altcoins can be ranked is main question? Coinmarketcap is there which just inlist coins in order of their respective marketcap. Till now coins are only ranked respect to how much fiat are invested in that coin which ultimately determines price. And i think high price is ultimate goal for any alts.
