I like to play chess. But "Go" has more probabilities than chess. "Go" is a delightful strategy game like chess.
Which is your favorite?
This thread should have a poll.
Honestly, I'd say Go > Chess. However, I'd prefer Crazyhouse Chess over Go.
Also, shout out to other Go Gophers
I never has a chance to play go, is that chinese checkers? I always see it and watch it on television but I can't understand it. I love chess so much it helps my focus skills and enhances my memory.
No. Go is entirely different than Chinese Checkers. Go is pretty straight forward. Drop tiles to surround space / enemies. Don't get surrounded yourself.
I prefer chess because by playing chess our brains are made to think of strategies to defeat the opponent.
Go is the exact same. Except Go has more strategy than chess.
Maybe chess is better, also a damn traditional game.
Go predates Chess by nearly 1000 years. Go is the traditional game.

Number of probabilities is a poor way to evaluate a game. In chess and go, a huge number of possibilities can be eliminated immediately. So the actual reasonable probabilities change dramatically. The same is true of poker.
Eh. Maybe, but Go still has more moves. For example, there is something like 10 opening moves in Chess (8 pawns + 2 knights), with a 19x19 grid (standard rules), that's 361 opening moves. Sure, a 100 to 200 of those moves aren't the greatest (counter-meta), but it's still hundreds more moves than Chess.
Never actually played GO before but Chess is a classic
Meh, Go is more of a classic than Chess. I suppose it depends on where you were born, but Go does predate Chess by nearly a millennium.
