Easy money, what else. Humans are naturally greedy, lazy and fearful, that's why we made machines and stuff. If we can make money without much effort, we'd probably jump at it. The only reason people are not all getting into these schemes is because of their moral code. Not everyone subscribe to that though. A system will always have a small number of parasites.

It's not only bitcoins... scammers are after "things" that are valuable. As the value of bitcoin grows, more and more scammers will bound to appear. So everyone just need to treat bitcoin as real money and be careful!

Are you five years old or you lived on the moon up until now? When something is valuable like bitcoin are now, then it worth to risk, cheat and steal to get it.
In search for personal gain some people are willing to use every shortcut possible. So stealing and scamming others seem good options for them.
It doesn't mean bitcoin is something better or designed as scammer's tool. This is new reality and predators are always adapting faster than sheep.

Its easy to understand, some people wants to have money without working, and saw on stealing money (bitcoins) is a fast system. Pyramid scam schemes used first dollars, and now use bitcoins.

Why to people have to post with caps lock on? It's because they don't understand written communication methods.

Why do people have to scam? Beacause they are lazy or incompetent. I feel that if you have to steal or scam, then you are a failure, and even worse, you have admitted to yourself that you are a failure.

Scammers is a profession, this can happen in any business, especially bitcoin. They will not stop and will always create a new business account is similar to previous scam program. They get a lot of BTC on various types of investment program, Ponzi was their favorite. there are some scam programs in bitcointalk, such as embezzlement of funds in various shitcoin ICO.

The best way is currently only using escrow, participant much to learn from many scams before, now they are more careful to follow something.

Those trolling Bitcoin right now are no different: the only way they can convince people to unwittingly destroy Bitcoin is by using lies and distortions, not the truth.

They're failures too, they don't seem to understand that there is no honour among thieves: you need a profound lack of empathy to direct such a campaign, yet the trolls assume those they are collaborating with will be loyal to them. There are alot of factors why what so we called "scammers" scam for bitcoin.Most of the they just scam because they "think" that that is the easiest and short term of earning bitcoins without much effort inserted into it.There are some that scams because they badly need it.So many reasons why people scam.Also one is because of its trend and price right now

Because Bitcoin has monetary value!
Simple answer right?!
Some of them want it to cash out for Euros, Dollards, Yen etc.
And others will just hold and wait for it reaching Jupiter!
Scammers always look for opportunities to get your money or what has some serious financial value.
That is why you shouldn't trust any stranger who tells you some weird stories or makes you some great offers or deals!
When it sounds to good to be true then be cautious!!!Your alarm bells should ring!

This is something that even surprises me why someone will derive joy in another person's misery. It happened to me when I was scammed so I can relate with that. But I guess the reason for that is the difference in our value orientation and what we all hold dearly. Everybody wants to have money and get rich but some people care less about the means only the end and that is why they care less about their names or reputation so far money is the end product of their action, everything else is secondary.

My reason for this is because of the Bitcoins anonymity. Since we are completely anonymous on using bitcoin, unless you have a personal information connected on your bitcointalk account, and so on. So, people are scamming each other here because of just like what I have said, being anonymous. The other thing is because this is the fastest way they could earn money, since they don't know on how to earn some and they are those people who don't know the word "Hard work" and "Effort".

Also the other reason for these is because they are making their revenge, I mean, they have been scammed, so the other way around, they will scam someone also, for them to be able to take back the money that someone have been scammed to them by scamming other people, and this is nonsense, because the Karma will just go back to you, bad Karma. It is like the scamming thingy is just cycling on those scammer people.

To be honest, who wants to work in 2017? most jobs are underpaid, people is exploited, so I can understand that some people is desperate enough to go around trying to scam other people.

In any case, I don't justify it, but I understand it. Some people are stuck in McDonalds because they can't do anything else. They get desperate so they try to get money at all costs.

When something becomes valuable people make plans to earn in easy way. This in turn becomes plans to attract the users and soon this becomes a scam when the plan initiator gets the targeted number of bitcoins. These days scams are found much focusing the newbie. It's our responsibility to stay away from them.
