Hello,

A friend sent some btc to my blockchain.info wallet a few days ago but the transaction still remains unconfirmed.
Transaction ID: https://blockchain.info/tx/64ba86099d5ef1e4a6d07773089683d9aa813b4e88a71ce7ebeea7b7463f45ba

Any pointers on how to rectify this would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

the first sticky post in this section is called "All about stuck transactions" or something like that, here is the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802212.0
You will find different ways to solve your problem, to simplify, you have to resend the transaction for the blockchain to process it when the traffic gets back to a normal state.

Network is under an insane stress load at the moment and transaction time and fees are spiking so your best bet for your next transaction would be to attempt to pay a higher fee (if possible) in order to get confirmations faster by the miners.

A good tool you can use is VIABTC TX Accelerator which allows for them to attempt to confirm your transaction and it does it much faster then the network would go without their help and support. Currently too many people are using the service so I can't submit yours but once thats over you should go ahead and try every hour if it's still not confirmed.
