If you don't know anything about the risk associated with investing in a gambling site and don't undestand some comupations and formulas about the possible earnings then I suggest you to stay away and think of other way instead to use that bitcoin. There is no assurance that you will earn good profit even you have BTC1 to be put as an investment on a gambling site.

And you said that you are ready to take small risk? This kind of investment have big risk and not as small as you think. If only it has small risk, you can see most of the people here having an active investment to those gambling sites.

I did not say that.  I don't think there is a great chance, but the chance always exists. Please let me clarify more.

First, let me state, that I have some of my own personal funds diversified through quite a few sites that offer investments.  The amount differs by how much I trust them, how much I know about the owners, past history, reputation, stake of bankroll ratio, betting volume to bankroll ratio, and a few other things.

I am confident that in the long run, it will provide me with a lucrative return.

Now having said that, there is always a chance owners (albeit imo, a very small chance with most of the top sites these days) will run away with investor's money.  

That's why it pays to research, reach out to owners, talk with them and establish a direct line of contact if possible.  Find out what the best and worst case scenarios are.  Find out what happens if they do disappear for example and if there's something to track them down or just an empty shell company or completely anonymous information.  

That isn't the only reason to diversify though.  You want to minimize variance and volatility so that your risk of ruin is lowered.  For instance (this is not an attack on SD), if you had all your bitcoin invested into safedice, there was a period where you could have lost 90% of your holdings in one night.  If you're looking to invest and grow, your aim should be to make it to the long run instead of gambling against whales and heavy action.

But for now moneypot is being negative, do you think that it will rise again? Because most people will saw the result first rather than the process you guys have been through. And one more thing, I know that moneypot has many sites that it covers up so will it be better if diversify it on other site than on moneypot?

In this competitive world, there is no guaranty that one business can survive forever. So by diversifying you will reduce your risk of losing investments. Even though casino is around but if some big whale wins huge amount then your investments will go down a lot. But if you diversify your funds then these risks will be less because your money is put in few casinos at least other casinos profits may compensate these losses.

Can you give us the real stats on your investment? And what site did you trust you put your investment? Since for me casino investment is ok and actually that is the most trusted platform where we can put our money with but we should make sure that we invested at legitimate,trusted and well known site with huge bankroll so that we can assure that we will not go on messy situation.

Good thing that I saw your thread. Well your search is over. Bitvest is I can say the best place to invest those coins you've got. The management is fair and it's been running in the long run now. And I can say the owner of this site is very trusted to the bitcoin gambling community and as well as here in forum. The returns is hard to estimate but the favor goes to the house together with its investors.

I don't get why so many people on this thread advice against investing, maybe they don't even understand how it works, or had some bad experience. Anyway, the whole point of any investment is to make a small risk and get some reward, and the chances of success must be higher than chances to lose. This is definitely the thing about casino investments, since the house edge is on your side, and you have a huge number or rolls to make that house edge work.

Now, about which site should you choose, you need to make your own research, get some in-depth understanding how casino operate and so on. From my personal experience, I can say that crypto-games is quite reliable, although they already have a huge bankroll, so your 0.2-0.3 BTC might not yield the highest return. They also accept altcoins, which can be a quite interesting option.

Also I have investment at yolodice, the casino is new and the bankroll is not giant yet, so there's a potential to get a good profit, the also allow to leverage your investment for a higher risk/reward.

I invested in moneypot before, I just tried it, well most sites have their calculator of profit, because it depends on the whole bankroll of the site, which in case of casinos, they are high, to be in proportional to your investment, so in that way you can see that it is not profitable for that kind of low investments.

Where did you invest and where did you lost money? How long did you hold your investment, in long run investment should be just fine.

The more people invest in gambling sites, higher the bankroll, less peace of cake you will get. It might be one of the reasons, but i might be wrong

I think it's a risk that must be faced if you choose to invest, there is no way to prevent it from happening. The only thing that makes your money safe if the owner of the site is an honest person and he is serious about running the business run.

0.2-0.3 BTC on putting it on gambling site bankrolls somehow doesnt really feel up the profits you would made.I think 1 btc would be minimum for you to be able to feel the profits and investing on them does really have lesser risk compared on directly playing on the site. There are certain gambling sites that are open for investors i dont have any list and just make up search on this forum and you will surely find one.
