What do we think about this lads? Are we going to the moon? I'm stoked. I don't really get why the price keeps rising, but i don't mind. It doesn't look like a spike like the previous ATH, its way more stable.
Are we finally getting more mainstream?

It is very promising for bitcoin and all the ones who believed in it so far.
Just very disappointing for the ones who don't have any to one's name.

Well, it hasn't spiked exponentially like the last time BTC was at these levels so it is on much more solid support this time it seems..
A spike from here may be yet to come, who knows.. It would have to go silly high for me to sell..

We had an all time high across all exchanges in the world (except OkCoin) the other day. It's great to confirm that the uptrend is as strong as ever.

But not only this, it is also very pleasing to see china not leading the market anymore. Now they are stuck with the 8888 ATH and with a lower price because of their own stupidity.

What i like more on this ATH is that price is increasing slowly, not like the other times. And now price is near the gold onze, bitcoin will have more exposure on newspapers if it goes above gold.

I don't think it gets much published through news portals. Till date it haven't gained popularity through advertising and other methods of promoting similar to PayPal, Western Union or other such service providers. It grows in its path even if cross and go beyond gold.

I am more or less just okay with it since the current all time high is not that much higher than the one we had a few days ago.

I add more value to maintaining the $1200 mark, but at this point it's probably too much to ask for as building support and confidence takes time.

I still haven't cashed out a single Satoshi as I don't want to see my coin stash lowers in quantity. Hodling is the only thing I am doing. Not even trading.

The problem is that a lot hinges on the Bitcoin ETF getting approved / rejected.
If the ETF does get rejected and we manage to sustain these levels, then I would be really happy.

I know MtGox's high was somewhat inflated because at that time it already was very difficult to cash out fiat (3 months delay ... in fact, if you cashed out in early December you probably never saw your money again). But it was the only relevant exchange in 2013, and there seems to be some resistance at that point. It may be also because of gold parity at actually $1249.

But fake or false ATH's don't count.

Dont rush with price it this comes to end and price suddenly goes sky high then expect to see big Sky down in price like in 2014 when this first time occur. Im better price steady and slow rise without price drop then with one sudden and price comes down.

well we are there, another little jump and it will be broken also, the difference is that this rise is very strong and solid, or at least look like it is, that one was a joke and heavily manipulated

in fact it was not possible for bitcoin at that time to increase so much, it was a fluke, that coeme out because of few condition such as willy bot, doge hype etc....

ETF's will at some point become a normal thing in the world of Bitcoin as there are more ETF's in line that potentially might get approved. Right now all the attention is pointed at the Winklevoss twin's ETF, but even if it doesn't get approved, then still, there is more to come. If the price is going down as result of the decline, then don't see it as something negative, instead, use that opportunity to scoop up more coins at lower rates. The price will recover again to current levels and continue to rush further.

The way I look at it is that if the price breaks out, I win. If the price falls, I get another opportunity to buy some Bitcoin cheap, I win.

we are rising and i hope we can never see moon in short term. the current slow rise is healthy and will stay and if we keep it up we can see good prices that never go down.

there are a couple of spikes there. but isn't it obvious? the price is always rising because of adoption and more demand. we are not yet at the mainstream level although there are some movements in that direction.

if ETF is approved the massive investment is not going to join bitcoin they are going to join Winkelvoss ETF plan and it is not going to change anything about bitcoin and the demand on the marketplace!

the only thing that it can cause is other people finding out about bitcoin. and those other people don't want to invest in Winkelvoss ETF and invest in bitcoin directly that way, yeah bitcoin price can go up.
