You can try paxful, cex.io, coinbase if you are in US, coingate, virwox. All I've mentioned are trusted exchanges where you can bu btc, fees depends so you have to choose yourself. Goodluck. |

maybe you can try coinbase. However, there are many bad things happen to coinbase and I suggest you should not buy Bitcoin directly from it. Instead of online services, you can find some online traders or local traders who have a good amount of Bitcoin. You can negotiate with them and ask them for the lowest prices as possible. Buying from these guys are more effective and cheaper third party services |

I live in Botswana; southern part of Africa. It will be hard finding a local trader so i thought i can find somewhere i can buy bitcoins they way i buy my stuff on steam.

As I know some people had issue with coinbase, I suggest you to use paxful but there is another great alternative. As quoted localbitcoins have got increased number of traders from different parts of the world. So every country men can find the trader who is gives the convenience of transaction based upon the OP 's requirement. Sure he can find a trader accepting Visa, but price variation will be there. |

If you don't want to be cheated then don't trust someone that easily, and using your VISA to buy bitcoins to confirm that you are not going to be scam by someone can't assure you that you are in the safe side, that is why it would be more better if you are going to find someone who sells bitcoin is your place and do it in person, it is more safe and secure than buying online. Also, using VISA to buy bitcoin would just makes you vulnerable because you are not anonymous anymore, so the bitcoin anonymity would just become a nonsense when you are going to be like this. |

It is appreciated that you asked about it in the forum. There are some sites where you can buy bitcoins using VISA but most of them would ask you to verify the identity using KYC to ensure that the VISA card is not stolen or hacked one. I would recommend you to try cex.io (I have an account with them but for some reason, I was unable to buy from them as I have a VISA card that does not support payments in foreign currencies) However, I have read good reviews about them.
Do your own research before trying any unfamiliar service.

there are many such services on reputable sites, if you are citizens of America or somewhere supports, you can use Coinbase. however, I advise you not to use Coinbase. because there is a lot of trouble going on when you are trading, that's what everybody does not want. You should look for traders to trade directly, this would be a lot safer Checkers to you. it would be more efficient

I will recommend paxful and coinbase to you because I've used both and still using them in several other ways and they have been excellent especially paxful with their payment system and delivery. So feel free to make a choice. |

Several sellers in localbitcoin, I don't think your country matter, I noticed most sellers are using an external party where you can send money to your friends by using an app and linkinng your card to your account. 247exchange and Bitpanda are two others sites you can take a look at it. Generally you need a verification ID to buy using a card. Bitit.gift allow you to buy but not a lot. Over 25$ you will need a verification of your ID

I am only using Coinbase and for me it is legit that you can definitely can trust but I think it is not the best way to buy bitcoin right now because of the value increase, just my suggestion but it is up to you if you really want to buy because the best time in buying it is when the value is in the lowest! |
