FYI:

Anyone interested can show up. It's in New York City on 3/16/2017 at 9:30.
Show up before 9:00 as you need to go trough metal detector.

It's a regulatory challenge that was started in Oct 2015.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
