I purchased some bitcoins using my bank account on ZebPay and transferred the bitcoins to a bitcoin wallet which came first on Google ads, https://blockchain.info/

a196c59f160210bc4e3396d406fed2de24c45335d5e1b3f9408d0abe8e2eead1

Then I proceeded to deposit this into Neteller using Bitpay invoice

dd6dbc6296984a8ae73371248210cb23d3bc1848f47c87658600c7443babfbb7

which failed as the bitpay timeout expiry happened and bitpay could not confirm these.

The rest of the money though small was transferred out by someone, pls note this is a 15 mins old account, how can a hacker get access to my account and transfer some bitcoins out. This is the transaction reference on blockchain.

f41e20da01cda25bced9b2a9201b5e6a3517cedf0fa84b0f1e4b080ec4f7769d

I contact customer support and they say they have no idea.

Finally I contact BitPay and tell them that the bitpay invoice expired and please refund the same. It has been over 48 hours since I transfered my bitcoins to them about 12$

Hello,

Currently, traffic is unusually high, as can be seen at https://blockchain.info/charts/mempool-count.

You can increase the likelihood of timely confirmation by using a bitcoin wallet that dynamically calculates the miner fee to include in the transaction.

We recommend the BitPay app for this: bitpay.com/wallet. In the wallet's settings, customers can set the network fee to 'Priority'.

If the bitcoin transaction never confirms, then the funds will be spendable again by the your bitcoin wallet.

I am going to check if the transaction confirms so that we can process a refund.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach back out to me!
Sincerely,

Jeremie

Hello,

As I mentioned earlier, we are unable to process a refund until the transaction is on the Bitcoin blockchain. The miner fee might have been too low and is now in the queue. There is nothing that BitPay can do to make this go any faster. Once it is in on the Bitcoin blockchain, we will be able to process the refund.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach back out to me!
Sincerely,

Jeremie
