Is this a REAL Bitcoin bubble?

the steps we took to rise up to the current price doesn't show a bubble yet but the rise is a bit scary and not-so-common for bitcoin to keep on rising like this. if we break the $1300 resistance in the following days then i am going to start expecting a big correction on the way. but i still can not call it a bubble though.
it is mostly because of the ETF on the way and by 11th things will slow down.

If the bitcoin price rises with the number of users, there is no bubble.

I don't think so, the chance for the price of bitcoin to be a bubble is always there. but just waiting for the final decision on 11 march and it will give a definite answer for us and keep our eyes on the bitcoin charts.

It's a bull run so far,But not a bubble!
It took us 3 years to fully rehabilitate and to have some surplus from where we dropped in late 2013!
So if a bubble should happen, you will definitely recognise ist. Possible scenario would be an ETF approval which could push the price to $3000+ in a very short amount of time. This however could also be very dangerous and another post 2013 bear market wouldn't be unlikely.If the smart money decides to leave Bitcoin then you will again need to have a very long long breath!

The price of bitcoin is the real one, because the fake volume issue is the one that made some unexpected fall. Now this time the growth is strong and moving without any distraction or dependence. So following week based on ETF we will experience the price bump and dump.

Bullshit. When mt got happened it was so opportunity quick. This has been a steady rise over 3 years. It's a completely different situation. It's not a bubble like mt gox but there is a lot of speculation going on because of the ETF that may come soon.

What Bubble?   ...... We have a steady climb upwards.... and we have been hanging above $1000 for a while now. Let's say the SEC approve the

ETF, then this bubble will grow much bigger... if you want to call it that.   ....The estimated price per Bitcoin might jump to $3000+ if this

I'm not so sure about ETF and I know this current rally because people speculate 'how if' SEC approve winklevoss ETF.
But how if they don't approve it? Then the price will crash again, I could feel it and we should be prepared to face another dump.

That's the point. Bitcoin is much more liquid now than in 2013. I think we will never see again the increase rates we had at some days in the first Bitcoin bubble. At the most volatile days we had upswings of almost 100% in one day! At the other hand, we had also the infamous April 10 crash with a ~60% decrease of the price in 24 hours.

These times are over, I think - and that's good (who wants 60% crashes in 24 hours? Only shorters and they are a small minority of the users.). 20% crashes are the worst case now, that gives us a little bit of tranquility.

And that's why I think we are seeing actually a bubble in the making, because 5% per day is not a sustainable pace. It is possible that it will end above $1000 or even above the old ATH of 1150-1250 USD. But it's also possible the peak is near. March 11 will be a good date to check the direction where the price will go.

Now as to the bubble thing.  These prices have got me a bit scared, though it is SO tempting to buy some right now.  I mentioned this in another thread:  I just bought something online for bitcoin and shortly thereafter the price spiked.  I'm not spending bitcoin again.  That's just silliness.  Yeah, we are probably in a bubble, though I think 2013 was more extreme.  We'll see how long it takes to crash back down to earth.

Congrats on your decision on selling everything but what if the ETF is approved and the price would cross new borders.I do hope there will be a correction in near future but i am not sure how things will go because the Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss might influence some people,so it is really interesting to see how things will go but one thing is certain that Winklevoss brothers will make a huge amount even if the price swings both ways.

I think for now that the next pump will,be the next bubble. For the past few weeks bitcoin have been stable at price ranges 1100-1260$ while going up and down showing good resistance and if this continues we will see yet another pump that will make a mark on bitcoins history just like 2013. It might not be that big of a pump but im sure that it will be new ath.

pff, it does not mean that it is not a pump if the number of the users is also growing, in my opinion right now we might be in a bubble as well and I wouldn't be surprised at all if the price starts dropping like in a week.

of course I wasn't thinking about it, I'm pretty old when it comes to bitcoin and I already know how everything works, but there were a lot of other believers who were buying at 1280 and now are dumping to get as small loss as possible...
