Hello, I'm a noob and don't have time to mine for them hehe. I kinda need some in a hurry to get some shit from the silk road. I know paypal isn't the "ideal" way of dealing with bitcoins because you can get ripped off easy... but I'm verified and I'm looking for like 2-3 bitcoin (1 will suffice) and I'm willing ot pay with paypal. I'm verified and I'll go through all your verification tek's so you can trust me. Thanks to anyone who is legit and will help!

Careful, folks.  PayPal is notorious for its use in scamming.

PayPal = chargeback.
Bitcoin = no chargeback.

So if someone paid you in PayPal, got Bitcoin, they could dispute it with PayPal and get their money back; there's no way to get Bitcoin back.

Not saying OP is attempting this.  Just be careful.

Does LocalTill work for any other exchange besides bitfloor?  They're really easy to deal with.

I'm aware of this, I have asked for a little personal information to hopefully deter reversing payment.

If you send Paypal payment as a "gift", then I doubt you can dispute it and do a chargeback on it.  Go that route and avoid the rest.

Gift is reversible also, everything on paypal is.

There aren't any.  Your best bet is to go to virwox.com and buy Lindens (SecondLife currency) with credit card/paypal, and then exchange those lindens for Bitcoin.

On a slightly unrelated note, how can you do any sort of business using paypal?

You could ship some physical goods over to users and they could then ask for a charge back.
Is there no sort of protection that bit coin dealers could use?

Trading currencies via PayPal is against PayPal law.

So, no.  There's no safe way to do it.

I understand that, but I was more talking about any sort of trading in general, you could ask for a chargeback for anything.
Paypal almost always sides with the customer and does a refund before anything else.

So trading with Paypal, in general is not very secure for the shop.

yeah haha.

Everything went well with me and Satosamoto so far. Smiley

I'm waiting for my bitcoin wallet client to sync with the network so I can get my bitcoins. I'm still waiting and hopefully it won't take too much longer.

Best and most simple way to buy using PayPal is probably VirWox. I found that quite good Smiley
