I made a reddit thread a while back about a coin set I had: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5lvjjr/check_out_my_casascius_1000btc_gold_coins/These don't have BTC in them but they are my most prized possession. User throwawaydev400 made an offer I couldn't refuse to sell him 1 coin. We agreed on a price of 14 BTC about a month ago. We met in person today for the trade. And amazingly BTC price just broke gold parity. What a momentous occasion. Thought I'd share. EDIT: Currently selling for 14 BTC |

Yes, it was hard to sell one, but the price was too good. Now that it is broken, i will sell the rest. Maybe keep a few for myself. Make me an offer, but the market price has been set. 😀 And I'm in no hurry to sell them.

If I had kept the BTC, I would have been 10 times better off. |
