So how's it been doing so far? Didn't Florida have a problem with fresh water? Maybe he's about to implement something better maybe? I seriously doubt that he will just remove it without replacing it with something new.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

You're making no sense. Revoking a CLEAN WATER act makes No sense. You could expand upon it, but why in the world would you remove it? So if you or your family start drinking and/or dying from lead poisoning in your water, you'll be fine with that?

You're making no sense. Revoking a CLEAN WATER act makes No sense. You could expand upon it, but why in the world would you remove it? So if you or your family start drinking and/or dying from lead poisoning in your water, you'll be fine with that?

WOTUS interpretative rule was a jaw-dropping LAND grab.  It gave the EPA the ability to control all land which might have a puddle on it once in a while as well as land through which water might be moving under the surface (but above the water table.)

The EPA already has the ability to ensure that water is clean.  They had plenty of power to deal with the lead problem in Flint for instance.  What they choose to do was to keep their water tests results from the state for a year.  They also choose to 'accidentally' dump a whole mountain's worth of mine waste into the Animus river so that they could un-block some superfund money.  There is simply no way to break the seal to the mine shaft and not know full well what was going to happen.

I can say with confidence that what the EPA was planning to do with WOTUS was to interfere with anyone who wanted to put so much as a culvert under their driveway.  Doing so would take years and cost thousands of dollars in permits and such.  Particularly hard-hit would be any small time farmer since, on a system-wide basis, this class of producer competes with corporate ag and doesn't allow them to bring the prices of their product up as high as they wish.  The social planers are 'predicting' a 400% food price increase over our currently low food prices here in the U.S. and they need to ensure that the plan can happen.  Of course corporate entities who are big enough to have lobbyists will have no trouble doing whatever they want with water.  Probably they would often get the tax payers to fund their water related projects even.

One of the interesting things I learned in the whole WOTUS struggle (which interested me because I personally got fucked by the regulators and found that they had zero interest in actual environmental issues) was that the EPA is a very flawed organization.  They had employees shitting in the halls in their big office in Denver and had to hire human relations consultants to advise about the problem.  They had a guy who spent 5 hours of his day watching internet porn at work and claiming he had nothing else to do...and they still did not fire him!  There were also other absurd problems that I've forgotten the details of.  Oh ya.  Some under-cover vid of one of their gala's had some woman bragging about how they fucked some old miners out of their property for like 10% or 20% of the actual value.

If Trump totally kills off the EPA and starts over from scratch I would be perfectly happy with that.  Same with the Department of Education.

Trump is planning a lot.
But so far, however, he had to realize that there are also laws and courts in America and he can't do what he wants.

Trump planned a lot also about massively lowering taxes for middle class families and businesses but when it come to how would he apply this he didn't say anything in his speech in the beginning of this week. Perhaps our beloved new president have no clue and keep talking and talking but I see no acting from him so far. Maybe it is early to act but good presidents act early.

LOL!!! With one hand Trump promises to reduce taxes, and the other hand 10% is going to increase defense spending. Where will he get the money? I'm not talking about the fact that he had also promised to reduce the us debt. Storyteller!

This is a biased news, before they post this kind of news they should also place the reasons why Trump would remove this kind of laws. But I believe that the new government of America under President Trumps rule has new innovations and plans on preserving the cleanliness of all water in any form. He isnt that dumb to remove that law without thinking of something new and much better. There are many laws in the US that should be replaced since there are many loopholes.

If he increases defense spending then our already billion dept will increase because of our senseless wars. I understand that in Iraq we needed their oil and didn't care about the chemical weapons of Sadam Hussein but spending money in Syria where there is not much oil to get from. That is bad news if it is real. Trump has said that he will get back to the home country workforce which is working abroad in an attempt to raise the quality of American products in other words to make America great again.

You don't understand. Syria is the land transit of all Arab oil and gas to the largest market in Europe. It is very expensive. So the Russians are there fighting not to lose its monopoly on the European market.

Who said that Trump all? It seems to me that on the contrary, he does everything and yet nothing good is done. And will not do. He is not a politician and not a businessman. He's just a showman and for him the important thing is not the case, and most importantly be the center of attention. Even at the cost of the scandal.

    EXACTLY!

Especially since he once bitched about and campaigned on how poorly the Democrat controlled Flint, Michigan allowed their water resources to deteriorate so poorly. He probably blamed Obama for it. What a hypocrite this Donald Drumpf is! He's worse than a politician, he's a used car salesman business man.

(No direct offense intended to any used car salesmen on this forum)

“You talk about incompetent politicians,” Trump said. “They take good water and they say ‘Let’s give them bad water.’ They had clean water and they said, ‘Let’s go to another source that’s bad.’ Who are these geniuses?” -Donald J. Poster before you just countered your emotional tirade with factual questions regarding the context of revoking order in place. Some orders are revoked, because they did not have intended effects. Could you put sources that would clean up how exactly was clean water act saving millions of people? Or are going to spew more hormones in our way with your mangina?

Also, clean water act WAS NOT put forth by Obama. It was in 1972 by Nixon administration. It is nearly 50 years old now.

The WOTUS project was also an interesting study in bringing all of the propaganda methods of corp/gov to bear on an issue.  Especially noticeable was the use of social media.  Due to my own related issues I was paying close attention in real-time as the project unfolded.

If Trump is serious about doing his job and rolling back some of the centralization of power amassed over the past few decades, some effort will be put into doing a decent post-mortem of a number of the elements the EPA's WOTUS scam.

I think we still have much to learn and see under Trump's rule. Even today, some of his actions cause not only resentment, but even anger. It seems that he does not think about citizens, but about other things.
