Seems these are all in close range of each other. 480 and 470 8gb both a bit more $ than 470 4gb and also hash slightly faster. Anyone have an idea on which currently is the most profitable gpu and coin to mine?

Rx470 4gb is the winner

The rx470 8gb doesn't hash much more than the 4gb and costs more

The rx480 uses too much power for the returns and costs more

Know which 470 models have the fastest mem type? I think Samsung is fastest but idk which models are supposed to have that

Samsung is luck of the draw, I ordered 5 powercolor red dragon 470 4gb's they had samsung, then ordered 4 more from the same seller a week later and they were hynix.

I did a little more digging and the ones that had samsung were actually rx 470D (Polaris 10 1,792 shading units) 4gb cards were the others were rx 470 4gb (Ellesmere PRO 2,048 shading units)cards. The 470D cards are getting 29.85MH/s stable Eth after custom bios as to the 470 non d cards can only achieve 27.32MH/s even with my best bios modding.
