trying to figure out the most optimal pool settings with 3 x 7970 had 4 pools on load balance thinking thats to many ganna try failover instead cant really see to much direct advice seems like most people are using 2 pools?

I use 2 pools having 2 cards. They all mine on pool no.1. I guess 2-3 pools are enough for you. More important thing is to use stratum protocol everywhere and avoid getwork.

cool im wondering if using to many pools on load balance negativly affects your overall gain its starting to seem that way id have to track it a lot closer to be sure

I have only used Slush's pool sometimes.  I'm not sure about using one but two cards makes sense.

I switch between guild and slush
btcguild seems to be having problems lately
