This guy (Kim Jong Un) seems to be mentally handicapped. But even more alarming is the fact that he is commanding an army of close to 4 million people and having multiple nuclear weapons in his possession. Is there any solution to exterminate this rabid dog?

So far he seems rather shrewd, if you understand that NK is form of absolute monarchy and the monarch himself by all accounts spends most of his energy at trying to balance different cliques at his palace.

Extermination? For what purpose? Do you want millions of NKs go mad and pour over the borders? Because thats how 18th centure French would react, if you flat out murdered "king of the sun". 

Indeed, from western point of view they seem positively insane. We learned to leave insane people alone, in isolation, not "fight them for their own good".

In the event of war it will be destroyed, but not without casualties. The best way is a complete blockade. Neither the sale nor the purchase of goods should not be. Complete disconnection from SWIFT.

Only the ordinary civilians are going to suffer in case of an embargo. Kim will continue receiving millions of USD worth of gourmet food and designer clothes, through his contacts in Russia and China.

Kim is trying to show off again. He must be bored.
This won't lead anywhere, countries don't have much to gain from a war with that poor country beside land itself, but that fanatic might push them to it. If a conflict starts it will end within days because half of Kims army is just waiting for an opportunity to defect.

I agree. I think kim is aware that if japan or korea or even the us bites into all his craziness, it won't take a long time reduce nokor to rubble. Pity those innocent people living there that doesn't have a choice but to live everyday in fear because of kim's foolish childish antics

It seems to me that this is not a silly childish antics, and quite conscious of international blackmail. Kim does not regret his relatives so that his people in other countries do not people.

On topic, Kim is going to become even crazier than his father. He is like a bored child that thinks war is like a game of chess and nothing happens when you wipe the board. He doesn't care about human lives and will start a war sooner or later.
People like that should never be given power, that's why monarchies used to fall. Once in a few generations a great king had a coward son and whole empire descended into chaos.

Firing missiles towards the sea serves the purpose for Kim Jong Un. He wants to provoke Japan and South Korea (and the United States as well), without triggering the retaliatory measures.
