To make an online forum stay alive is not easy. more members mean more traffic, more traffic need more activities. and what makes that activity of members gain? they want to learn something or earn something. forget about how many spammers born because of this pay per post system. peoples with smart brain, and full of bitcoin knowledge are in this forum too and get paid with their contribution to make constructive post to help other member.
Now i am sad to see so many users that participated in some altcoins signature campaign got scam and unpaid with these shit new coins. i don't want to mention the specific name of these coin, i am sure you know it. participants helped them to spread the link, the logo, the words with time, energy, and brain. but what happen next? they are disappear. damn.
i think you have to make some rule for this. if they brave enough to launch a new coin project and spread an ICO, they have to be brave to prepare some fund for advertisement. i hope mods read this and make a decision for this. we need an assurance. thanks

There is no assurance in ICO, because you're joining on the signature campaign with altcoin paid and you can't do anything with it. The dev promise to pay the participant with the coin and if the coin will be failing and Can dev pay his participant? There is no one can do anything with it.

It's also a responsibility on the participant that he should be cautious and needs to do some research on who is behind the project that he is promoting. And as long as the signature campaign has the escrow and backed up with those trusted people here, they will do the best for it. I'm amazed on how those escrows/managers solved and give some enlightenment to the participants when those campaigns/projects turned out to be a scam. Remember that this forum is not moderating scams.

How I wish every campaign to open here have a BTC collateral before opening an altcoin campaign and hold it by trusted escrow , And give it back to the owner if the ICO completed and all bounty already distributed. so all participants will not be worried for payment and thier work will not be wasted. something like that, But honestly it's also our job to find a good campaign that will surely pay us.
I also experienced to join in scam ICO but still recieve the payment in BTC it's also depends if who manage the campaign.

Participating in altcoins Signature Campaigns is a risk we sign up to take. Some of these campaigns are 8 - 10 with weeks long and at such there's a possibility that The Project organizing the campaign may turn scam or refused to pay. So Sadly, There's really nothing the mods can do.
If you can't continue to take the risks, It's best If you refrain from altcoins sig campaigns

Just make sure that you participate under a trusted campaign manager such as Yahoo. I've seen here that a lot are joining for some sig campaigns as well as other promotional campaigns without even checking the authenticity of the project. Their first comments usually - "Is there a bounty for sig/twitter/fb campaign?; No bounty, no party; How much bounty for sig campaign?" and many others. And then at the end, they will fret that they signed up for that campaign. What I'm saying is - it should be the participant's responsibility and not the moderators. Everyday, a new altcoin is being introduced and you couldn't tell at first glance if they are valid or not. Sometimes it takes time to label them as "SCAMMERS". Hence, the mods don't have the control of such fraudulent projects.

No, you/we can't. This is not only about you/people who participated in signature, and other bounties. There are many investors too who risks their money by investing it in altcoins which they think it will be success in the future. (Which we know usually they are putting big amount). The only way to make sure you won't get scammed from altcoin signature campaign and other bounties is never join/participated in them.

I actually agree it's also participants fault to join in a campaign without even searching it. if you visit ICO announcement thread of altcoin all you can see first to ask is about bounty. Is there a bounty for this or for that. Blah, blah, blah and now crying if they will not get paid . all you need to blame is your self and it's not the mod fault. It's very easy if you want to get paid search and choose carefully before you join.

Now i am sad to see so many users that participated in some altcoins signature campaign got scam and unpaid with these shit new coins. i don't want to mention the specific name of these coin, i am sure you know it. participants helped them to spread the link, the logo, the words with time, energy, and brain. but what happen next? they are disappear. damn.
There are few slut campaign managers who manage unescrowed signature campaigns, they just want to get famous. The solution to this is that don't participate in such campaigns but keep on saying Scam..Scam..Scam in RED bold letters to nudge them and make them feel shame.

I think things like that are already accustomed to, because they are managers who are not used to be the manager of this signature, and therefore they throw tantrums and say something like that to him, so if you are true and do not commit fraud you do not need to be ashamed and afraid to answer it, because you are in the correct position.

Participants deserves to pay for their hardworks. And sig campaign managers should pay them since it is their obligation to know if the coins he advertising is legit.

We must be wise for now because not all are safe to join campaign and you are wasting your time by them like other said there are some signature campaign without escrow funds that we do not know if its trusted or not.. so better to choose that has escrow and always ask here who are already had experience about signature campaign..
