there are a lot of us demand shop that accepting bitcoin as payment, but from this forum i found out that there are some people unwilling to spend their bitcoin, so I want to asked If you found a shop that accepted bitcoin and fiat as payment, which one will you used?

if you are using bitcoin then maybe today 1 apple is 0.0008 btc , but tomorrow with 0.0008 btc you can buy 2 apples, but if no one used bitcoin for shopping then there won't be any shop that will adopting bitcoin anymore

so what will be you choice?

When it comes to online shopping nowadays, I think Paypal was still the one who is more usable than bitcoin, though there shopping online who accepted bitcoin as mode of payment like amazon, allexpress, and others.

First one can't be atm. These are micropayment, and how we trade with this network delay and fee problem. Bitcoin is no more for micropayment. Meanwhile other blockchain take 10s and fee is cheap.

I think it's okay to spend bitcoin as long as you will replace it quickly . Some merchants also offer Bitcoin discounts. One strategy some people use is to always buy when the price drops. That way there is always a supply of bitcoin coming in.

Yes there is no doubt about this that it will be very much excited to use bitcoin as currency in our local shops, for me i never do so, because here is not a single shop who can accept bitcoin here but i am still hopeful that a time will come when i will be able to use bitcoin as currency in our local shops for shopping.

I preffered to use fiat because for me it is easy to spend. In my country, bitcoin is not totally legalise.If i want to shop using bitcoin,I will transfer it to fiat. If our government allow to use bitcoin for shopping in the future or they create a website that bitcoin directly accepted,i will go for it.

In a shop if bitcoin and fiat is accepted, then surely I'll go for fiat. The reason is that fiat has a common value, but bitcoin is not like that. Periodically bitcoin increases in value, so it's been saved as an investment to profit for a long time plan execution.

I've long been using bitcoin as a currency, it is simplest for paying things online. I've spent them whether it's price was really cheap or even high. However i feel little bit regret, if i hadn't spent those amounts i would hold much money right now, to be honest i can not deny that bitcoin is best as an investment, so for this reason i would pay that thing with fiat not with bitcoin, i would rather holding than spending them, i would spend them only if i couldn't use fiat, people also predict that bitcoin's price might be hit 2k dollars or even more so it's good for hold them.

Regrets indeed very many experienced by users of the bitcoin earlier, because they now have to accept the fact that the price of the bitcoin is much higher and also very beneficial if they could buy a lot of bitcoin. But it all is not the end of all the struggle and also a desire to achieve, for the future of the bitcoin is very long. It made us have to benefit from related actions and think about bitcoin

Actually there is a certain place in Europe that almost all shops in the town are accepting bitcoins in exchange for goods and services. As I can remember there was a post in this forum talking about how it all started and how other local shops joined the group. But hoping that it will also happen to other countries. The only thing we need to do is just wait.

would be very nice if very many online stores that accept bitcoin. well, although not all accept it, but will it be very good. Well, maybe, when you buy something expensive, suddenly, bitcoin prices down, it might be a trading tool, and it's bound to benefit.

bitcoin is used better online, there are many shop online take a look at them and try to use bitcoin, i do it all the time when i need something to purchase, the fee are quite bad now with all this block limit issue, but still better than paying with debit card imho, and don't forget that with service like purse.io you can kill the fee with their 20% discount, this really help bitcoin a lot

It is a good question.
I would retain the Bitcoins ,I have earned with me.
But you have a valid argument that I every one stops using it then it will be literally good for nothing.
But this is not practically possible,
Because as of now there are millions of people using bitcoins,
And mind it they are happy with it.(most of them)
So why would they immediately stop using it.
So as a conclusion I would prefer using fiat for daily transactions.
Because history favours them i.e.their cost has increased exponentially wrt to time.
So I consider bitcoin as a form of investment.

I will use fiat and not bitcoin, i treat bitcoin as an investment (safe one) rather than a money that i have to use for my daily expenses. I like to store bitcoin for next few years, price has been doubled within few years so it is likely that price will double again within next 2-3 years so i am storing my wealth in bitcoin rather in my local banks which has only 10% yearly interest.

i will actually choose bitcoin as i have many times before. and i have never thought about the profit that i miss out on, the though obviously have crossed my mind but i never regret spending small amounts of bitcoin such as 0.01-0.02BTC

I will also use Bitcoin to purchase my things. But to buy an apple or small things I use to pay fiat currency. For the small amount, it is very complicated to calculate the value of BTC, and sometimes the BTC transfer chargers are high to compare the value of the product. But I will play my mobile bills and electricity bills through Bitcoin. I don't like to spend my fiat currency it's must needed for me.

In my own i think if the site is not well known i will choose the safety way of payment like paypal as fiat..  but if the site is well know like steam or purse i can spend my bitcoin to them.. i am just thinking always for safety way so that we can not lose a money or scam. .

I want to used bitcoin for shopping because I want to buy what I want instantly without exchanging it into legal money but before that happens, bitcoin need to adopt in the country. Sadly, there is no shop for bitcoin payment in our country for now and I hope it will be adopted in our country sooner.

I prefer using bitcoin because it is very famous nowadays. We all know that bitcoin is used by many people in different countries. Eventhough that some countries doesn't support bitcoins we can say that if they will study how bitcoin works and what are the advantages of using it, it will make them to realize that bitcoin is a good one and very helpful thing when it comes to fast transactions in online buying and some stores. It is hassle free and no need to bring some high amount money. Bitcoin is a very helpful currency and it helps many people nowadays to have a good earnings and some people may get rich becausw of it having a high value that continuous increasing. The kind of people you have pointed out, I am one of them. I treat bitcoin as an investment and not as a currency. So if a shop owner accepts payments in bitcoin and fiat both, I will definitely use fiat currency and not my bitcoin. The reason is the same as you have mentioned. If you compare the price volatility, then you will actually end up loosing more that the cost of the product.

But I think you don’t need to be worried about the transactions of bitcoin. The bitcoin is widely accepted in online world and new merchants are added every single day. So the transactions are happening, but not for the silly things like daily groceries or mobile recharge.

it depends. if I can buy something with fiat, I'll use fiat. however, if the shop selling the thing I want to buy is far, let's say it's abroad, then I will use bitcoin as long as the shop accept bitcoin. because bitcoin is more profitable as investment.

The two have their advantages when buying online most especially when the store is not reliable. Trade with coin might not be refunded if your purchase is not delivered, it is a mindset you prepare yourself for, Not that that it happens every time. Most banks offer this services if u try. My observation is that localbitcoin traders get your bitcoin into fiat at higher rate base on dollar at blackmarket in some countries. Going to market with fiat converted will make a cheaper purchase

I will still to choose the fiat. With the technical problem of bitcoin and i will never use it for the daily transaction. Fiat still becomes the main currency for everyone in the real life. I don't want my transaction gets a stuck on the bitcoin network and will be delivered in next day.
