So I use electrum to transfer and keep btc. These past few days I've made a few purchases of btc of about $350 at differing amounts. Out of these past 4 transactions 3 were all confirmed but it did not send the money to the BTC address I needed it to. Electrum Still says I have all my money in my account but when I try and send it it says not sufficient funds like I can't even send a dollar. Has anybody ever encountered this and know how to fix it?

can you give us transaction id's, which addresses are yours, how much you were sending to which address?

Just a first couple of remarks:
1) there is a huge transaction backlog, due to this backlog, a lot of transactions remain unconfirmed, even drop from the node's mempool. This has nothing to do with electrum.
2) from time to time, electrum seems to "hang" or act weird, a quick restart usually solves the problem.

Nah, i just meanth shutting down electrum and re-starting it... You'd be supprised how often people keep a tool open for weeks on end, and then panick if it starts acting weird... Certainly not implying that that's the case here, just giving "default" good-housekeeping advice Wink

Now, about transaction 1367606017dc7ce55617890bdb88357c37f709c40f8db690fc7947a54e6e61c3
https://blockchain.info/tx/1367606017dc7ce55617890bdb88357c37f709c40f8db690fc7947a54e6e61c3

It seems like you're one of the victims of the huge backlog, and the resulting fee bid war... The fees are to low for this tx to have a good chance of getting into a block any time soon (altough, sometimes you end up being lucky, the odds are not in your favour)... If you follow the link to my website, there is the complete calculation of the problem, and near the bottom of the page, i offer some advice on how you could proceed.

Thank you so much for your reply. Thats fine if I have to wait for that latest transaction, but do you think the others will go through soon they have all been confirmed and I've been waiting 36 hrs on them. My brother checked from his btc address somehow that unconfirmed link is the only one showing up headed his way and none of the confirmed 3.
Again thank you for responding so quickly and so in depth.

I have also set my fee multiplier as high as it will go do you think that will help? would it be alright to buy more btc or do you think it would get stuck like the rest?

The first one:
https://blockchain.info/tx/8daa04de0ecea39626c1582d5f17c2ba344af4434915614a9fae387d55cad5ae
has 12 confirmations

The second one:
https://blockchain.info/tx/7982a63e899738f1aa3c458901ac0c0aef2c398814887933df707c5adc04dfd3
81 confirmations

The thirth one:
https://blockchain.info/tx/fe63e9674c46abc7cb303e247b86ab15921218ec3a0cd9e2ff45f471fd85da40
347 confirmations

To be honest, the first one not showing up might be due to a lagging server, but the other two should actually show up at the receiver's side...

What you could try is to save your current wallet, then go to electrum => file => New/restore => pick a temp name => standard wallet => i already have a seed => enter your seed => restore
Make sure you're running an up-to-date version of electrum (currently 2.7.18) and that you're connected to an up-to-date server (green button in the right bottom corner)
