I see you post the same 200 USD price all over this forum right? Tell me what makes you think or ever better believe that this would happen? Do some calculations on how much cost to mine, look the capitalization... will just never happen this. maybe if we read news from all over the world together that bitcoin is banned and illegal, then yes maybe will go at that level and even lower but as we speak the acceptance is much much bigger and the system is working...

We've had so many drops since July last year and it reached back to $650 after touching $1300 while again in December it started increasing and reached $800-$900. Now it has been fluctuating between $1200-$1287 for a long time and hence it's bound to drop back to where it started in December ($800-$900). It's sad that without any valid reason, it keeps dropping and rising by $400 which hurts the investors.


Still I take it in positive light as the price rise was a major reason why miners were not confirming transactions with a low fee.

Well said, as one of the thread states here, wise trader profit from price increase and even profit more from price dump.  Bitcoin price is an uphill climb, there maybe some pit (dip/dump) or hurdles but eventually it will climb in price no matter what happen along the way.  So I guess  a price dump to sub $1000 is not going to hurt but rather a good time to buy more BTC for holding.

It's about time for the chinese yes indeed. But the biggest exchanges do not allow withdrawals yet so i do not expect bigger impact because of china. the trend in general is down and makes me thinking about etf decision...

1100 euro as the floor?  do not think so, looking at this live is not a fun ride. Alot of people wanting to sell for some reason even at a time where we have three important verdicts. Sure big chance they might not be approved but the hype should have kept the price bloated for a bit longer or at least to 12-13 th of march.    I hope the panic is because of china news and buyers pick this up before 1k euro floor is broken.

It's normal in the market that the market goes down. Hence, what we need to do now is to hold our btc so that we would not lose our money. The january's volitality must be a lesson to us that we should really hold our bitcoins not only to contributeon its market but for us to earn profit from increasing its value.

It's not. Because the bitcoin is having the stronger support right now. Yesterday you have seen about the big dump and it makes a big dip just in a second and the bitcoin can recover it with the fast time. I think $1100 for the maximum bottom for the bitcoin is reasonable in my mind. Saturday everyone will be shaking his hand about the etf decision.

everything about a price fall is a joyful event for me, because it simply means i can prepare some more fiat and buy more cheap coins and that means making a very easy profit in a very short period of time.
and in the whole world i can't not think of a single person who doesn't like that.

This is hurtful to some investors who bought bitcoin a while ago with a price of higher than 1000usd, but as I can see It will bounce back to $1250 once ETF decision has been made, We are not sure what is behind this price decline but most likely its the ETF.On the contrary this is the best time for others to buy bitcoins while price is not much too high.

I think this is one reason for the price decline. But if you are into bitcoin and not just riding in the hype train, a price drop of $100 is still good for me. And I'm still believe that the price of bitcoin could recover slowly up to the end of the year even if the SEC does not approve of it ETF.

We must not panic of a sudden drop of price right now because that's a normal situation that usually happens, when the law of supply and demand will take effect in reality of digital currency market. Have a strong decision whatever it takes and i know the price will be recovering and will go higher after a few days or weeks, just enjoy the journey and you may encounter tricky situations.

It is not going to happen soon and hopefully later as well.  There is much more awareness and people involvement in bitcoin.
