if we go to level bellow 1000 this will automatically lead us to pump that will happen when things cool down little, as it is always happening, if you compare bitcoin capitalization with other systems - companies it's not big, this has the minus of easy manipulation for up or down, and we not talk much about it because in the meantime we win or bitcoins on money, but can you imagine a world that everyday the $ or the euro etc would have this up and downs ? of course not right.. but in bitcoins seems to be logical...strange little don't you think.

What you suggested for trading in Bitcoin is the proper way right now as we cannot say when their will be price dump and pump. I also yesterday had my buy order on 1160$ and when i came after some time i saw that my buy order got executed and the price was right that time around 1190$ so i had placed my sell order in 1205$ and today it got executed like this i am trading in BTC and getting good profit.

You guys are crazy. If you missed the dip just admit it. Everyone knows the ETF deadline, so everyone perpairs before the deadline because of fear. Thats exactly what we have seen this week. Almost everyone has fired their shots already. Price will not decrease to 1000$ anymore, just accept it that your trading strategy is weak. If bitcoin decreased to 1000$ it coul have happened yesterday when lots of dummies were panic selling.

Volatility is decreasing what means that sell/buy strategy is outdated. Lets hodl.

When a major news is about to break, there is nothing new in the market trying to adjust to the current happening couple with the fact that bitcoin itself is a very volatile currency. I expect people who are even knowledgeable not to add to the panic going on here and there. Whatever the decision concerning ETF, if its negative, the price will fall thereafter start adjusting to the current phenomenon afterall we have been using bitcoin before ETF and same thing will happen after ETF.

I guess under $1000 wont gonna happen yet and it would take time or maybe it would stay in 4digit price. The price has fall a bit but as you can see its bouncing back again. Also I dont want to see a 3digit price again and im sure most of bitcoiners as well. Imagine the panic it would cause if that happen.

The only people hurt might be day traders, who bought at current prices and forgot to sell when the price started to go down. Are there even such people? I thought day traders are smart and quick to react.

In 2013 bitcoin made its previous ATH over 1000 usd and the price dropped below 200 usd some months after that.

I am not sure if it happens this time but I am surely following it closely.

Its impossible to happen again on bitcoins price and seeing on the current state it has already a good support and wont easily crash even that ETF would affect,it may dropped but not on the lowest just like before.If it would go down again on $1000 price then its still fine since its a good time to buy cheap coins again.

Before price rose to $1200 earlier this month and charts didn't look that amazing either.
Not to mention that we had internal problems with scaling debate (we sill have), we didn't know how PBoC intervention will end.
Despite all these problems BTC achieved ATH. It is hard to rationalize bitcoin market shifts with charts...

Just there is a little time before we will see the announcement soon, I think to buy more is not the best decision in this time. The negative news about bitcoin etf will give a lot of the impact for all of the bitcoin users especially about the market of bitcoin. I will expect the market will turn into the panic market. and sell sell sell the bitcoin caused by the negative effect.

Yeah i think stay in chart and do trading by using sell or buy order is good enough idea. That will give more profit.
When the price of bitcoin touch under 1000 dollar, i think matket will become panic in sell and buying bitcoin. It potentially profitable from bitcoin's price movement .
