Just wonder, what is the exact minimum ETH for investing? I have been reading different explanations - Please clarify. The minimum limit for the ICO can be seemed as successful is 25000 ETH, the max limit is 250000 ETH. 25000 ETH is easy to achieve for other projects.

Hello!
Do I understand the crowfunding if the minimum LUNs to 'buy' is 25 ETH x 44 = 1.100? So one cannot ie buy LUNs for 1 ETH?
Hope someone can answer my question.
Kind regards,
Thewezz
I would believe you can send any amount... just that every eth gets you 44lun. So if you send 0.1eth you should get 4.4 Lun. I could be wrong.

I downloaded the Parity wallet and got it started up. Does this wallet need to sync or am I good to get into the crowd-sale from here? Please make sure that Parity is fully synced before you purchase LUN.

That's not the case. There's no minimum for you to buy. With 1 ETH, you can buy 44 LUN. The minimum 25,000 (twenty five thousand) ETH is our funding goal.

Thanks for the follow on Twitter, I like this project and I'm wondering is this something like steem, but for wiki contributors? If it's not that then my apologies this was the impression I was able to draw from it.
Please note my personal feelings are not an endorsement of this crowdsale the concept seems interesting

Time is just arrived so that I'm excited to see what is going to happen after few hours. Lunyr is very promising project so that I think it will achieve it's minimum fund cap very quickly so many people are ready to make investment in it.

not sure about steem but this IIRC is going to be a 'Pedia'. Most likely starting with any data from wikipedia that is verified, and going from there. Contributors get the tokens (basically proof of credit in the contract) as incentive for contributing and peer reviewing... Many, many hurdles from how do you know a contributor is knowledgeable (accredited does NOT necessarily mean they have a respectful grasp of any topic) to the network effect....but the network effect will be easily solved if they get the project really moving, and their team and pre-project is so well-worked and professional that I can almost guarantee it's not a scam. Not that anyone said it was, but that's a huge caveat with ICO's you know? This one has (to me) 0% chance of being scam...that said it's much harder to gauge the potential success...especially when the tokens are started off ~$1.00!!! I think it has YUUUUGE potential though as do many others...the future of this planet is blockchain or a derivative and anything that can be verified and incentivized through BC tech will be eventually. super exciting, kinda the potential missing link to getting 'true' information listed...because you get incentive!!

We've provided instructions for beginners and different Ethereum clients so it looks long. The actual instructions for each section are shorter than that.

That intimidation factor is why many people miss out...be glad ETH has a nice UI easy to follow one of these genius' directions. honestly wasn't hard though....most of the '47 page book' is separated into a few, different methods. So if you can handle reading a table of contents....scroll to the part that pertains to you...in my case MEW and just copy/paste the address and abi or whatever it's called. I don't understand MOST of this stuff but then again just 2 years ago I wouldn't have been able to comprehend blockchain xD There are already tons of ETH being sent...someone put in 91(?) or so...that's not a small chunk to invest into a potential winning project. I think this project has so much potential and clearly people with more money think so as well

Steem is Reddit-like. This is like Wikipedia but better. What are Lunyr tokens (LUN)? LUN are used to place ads on the platform. They function as part of the incentive system to drive contribution, peer review, and dispute and quality resolution. LUN follow the ERC20 token standard.

I also think it would be little delay due to long block time but we are waiting for this crowsale get started and to get bonus for me as early bird.

I actually do have at least a vague understanding of what is happening in each step, and I've done similar things before - at least this time I used myetherwallet so I didn't have the hassle of trying to sync the chain, which I remember being a very long thing even quite soon after Ethereum launched. But I still find it frustrating just how user-unfriendly Ethereum is. Its not enjoyable to use, for me, and as you say it puts a lot of people off which I think will be a problem both for Ethereum itself and potentially for projects using it if they don't manage to hide that in the background.

I agree I thought of this last night, the real hurdle is getting NORMAL everyday cash (or worse credit) lovers to be able to use this...I think that might be partially what 'Status' is planning to do...making a user-friendly mobile ethereum network? I've got analysis paralysis so badly these past few weeks but I think that's correct. I think it's actually FAIRLY intuitive (as an amateur computer person...like very amateur) but it bugs semi-frequently which can also then make people think the whole things freaking broken. I even got the 'Wrong Password' like 3 times today but since I know now my phrases are without doubt correct, I just kept spamming it until it unlocked and sent. With the chain issue I did some extensive searching and the best method I found (worked for me until last like 200k blocks which took for freaking ever) was deleting the chain data I believe, and letting it restart...it like turbo'd through 1.8 mil or whateve the number was until the last few hundredK blocks. btw is anyone watching the contract balance in real time?!?! haha I don't think they're gonna have a problem meeting their minimum lets just say
