There was a coin which is now dead. At the starting time of it when the ICO started I bought some amount of that coin and when ICO finished the price of it started to increase because of its demand for the trade and when the price doubled I sold them all and I earned a good profit. after that I bought a smaller amount but then the price started to decrease and the coin is now dead.

ouch. for me I had a couple of hyiip investments that grew just in a few days though i've lost a lot more in those scams than i've earned. that served as a good lesson for me that easy money most of the time may cost you even more than you can spend

At the moment you don't even need to communicate with investors. You can buy bitcoins and keep them anywhere without investing. Given that the price for them is constantly increasing and it will be the income from your investment. In the short term it is beneficial, but in the future I'm not sure. The main time to stop.

I am not sure where you are going here in connection to the topic, but this may be relevant in terms of how bitcoin has really affected the way people invest online. People can just buy bitcoins and just let the prices grow, depending on when you bought it, it could really be a good investment in the very long run.

Yup what he said is a little blurry to me too, but for sure he has doubt in BTC. Well I have doubts in the first place too but BTC is more than that, economists won't predict the price to be higher if BTC don't have that potential, of course we're having some issues on fees and transactions and I'm hoping before 60% of the world population use BTC this issues won't be an issue anymore. It is a system and no system is perfect but we're trying to make one Cryptocurrency that can be close to perfection. We have the alt and we won't ignore anymore in the near future if BTC is on its dying age.

There would are alts right now thatbare being primed ti take btcs place if ever it crashes like eth or ltc but with the way things are currently going, it seems btc is going to be there on top forbquite a long time. For long term investments, i'd put my money on bitcoin that's for sure. But alts are a very good option for short term. Day trading with altcoins can be pretty profitable and a lot of people are already making money from it.

Got a tip and bought some coins following that. Save for one, I did manage to get a small profit from each coin and I held them for less than a month. I wasn't able to sell the peak price though but it could have been worse. When dump happens, there's no way to tell if the coin would ever be pumped again so you might as well consider your money lost. This is why it can be quite risky, no way to find out if it's about to blow over and collapse.

Short term it would probably be Ethereum. Back in December, I bought 3 of them for $30 each. At that time I know that it was overvalued and possibly under a pump so I just hoped to get in to thale action. A few months after, I was surprised that ETH was trading at $300 a coin, which made me click the sell button and buy aome new graphics card for my self to mine these babies. Best 5 month-investment I've ever had in my life yet.

The best shot that I played was a recent one when I had one SC bought for 120 sats and the way it went up higher than 600 sats, made my day as well as gave me the results I expected for such a long wait of even 2 months. Have been watching many alts and even driven away by few and wanted to invest in them as few of them went even 10 to 20 times higher, but I managed to control myself and it really paid off.

The best short term "trade" I made was in the stock market (sadly it is not related to cryptocurrency) as I go all in with all my money into one stock, I decided to bought it because of its speculative play which turns out to be rewarding as I gained in less than 3 months 45% more than my capital, after I sold all my shares than immediately the stock went down for a while before it goes back up. It changed my view in picking my investment in order to maximize my capital.

In terms of bitcoin, I was fortunate to sell a good portion of my coins when the price surpassed the $1,100 mark for the first time at the beginning of the year, to buy more coins when the price dropped below $800 a week later, a price that came to be the lowest one this year to never go back to that level.
Out of the bitcoin, in the Forex market I have made some excellent trades that have left me more than 1000% profits in a few weeks.

with doge and cointelelct by abusing their account system, many other did this trick, plenty of easy bitcoin were awaiting
basically by investing 1 you could get 10 or 20, using renting website like miningrigrental, and pointing many of those rented machine, to different account, for mining

I have once made a 500% profit in just a few days with Nautiluscoin on Mintpal back in 2014. I must however note that I did it with a lousy 0.10BTC, but hey, better something than nothing. If we talk about serious amounts, then it was probably just after the MtGox collapse, or even this year - I am not completely sure. If I look at how much profit I have made in the last three months with trading alone (not counting the price that has gone up), then it's more or less in the range of 150%.

the price of s so much fluctuating between 2700$ and 2400$, so i think the best place to invest your investment for short term is bitcoin. you can really get a good profit here without risking your money because people are too much sure that the price of bitcoin is not going down any more.

I don't really manage to get much profit whenever I made short-term investment, The most profit I made was to bought Litecoin at the price of around $27 USD and sold most of it away when the price goes up to $49 USD, I guess I am quite lucky on that trade as I didn't need to wait a long period of time for the price of Litecoin to rise.

What is the best short-term (3 months or less) investment you made?
My best short term investment is probably a gigantic fluke and incredibly lucky. I bought 5 bitcoins when it was around $800 and then sold it for around 1000, and the best part about it was that it only took me less then a month. From then on i started to buy bitcoin when it dropped and kept holding it.

When I was starting trading stocks I made a few very short term trades and made a lot of money. In retrospect, I was pretty lucky. I ended up losing most of it, and then slowly recovering back up to where I peaked over the course of the next year. But the best single trade I made when I started out was getting in on Nutanix (NTNX) IPO within literally seconds of their shares becoming available to trade. I bought in at like $24 or something and they were over $30 within a couple minutes. I sold them the next day at $37, although it ended up going up to $44 I think before falling back down. Another good one was Impinj (PI) in February of this year (right before their earnings report). They plummeted right after I bought in, and I doubled down. They continued to plummet and I continued to double down until I had a pretty massive position in them. I held on for like 3 or 4 months and ended up making a massive profit. I wrote about that trade here: http://demoinvestor.com/articles/00000000To be honest, it was pretty clear that the decline in price that happened initially was unwarranted.
