I see some posts are not qualified as good English especially in grammar. So I think probably some native speakers want to share English lesson. In the first place I think the would just share it with no fee, but since I read their culture that strangers are not friends, so I think probably better to pay fee.

So, do you think the native speakers would share English lesson to you free or with fee?

How about using GOOGLE? Or YOUTUBE? Or even Grammarly?

There are plenty of tools everyone could use. Even simply reading books and novels would help. Heck, even watching English movies would.

Who has the time to spend giving personal tutorials. And it's not like people would actually pay for tutors just so they could write grammatically correct posts.  Grin

but some sources you mention sometimes share language that is not natural or authentic. when I watch movies, sometimes I need more explanation. I'm studying English pragmatics now, and it makes me a little bit confused. so I think it is better to learn from those who own the language.

well, grammatically correct posts is just another stuff probably the other users need.

quickest and most free way is to use other software to correct the grammar and then watch the changes and learn from those

Actually that culture of them isn't that applicable to all native speakers. In my experience most of them are good in strangers, they are friendly. I did used a website that connects you to different nationalities and you can add them, chat with them for free. Exchanging of language that you know, try to visit this out I know this can help you. https://www.mylanguageexchange.com/

i prefer to learn english by free  Grin because its depend our will, we want to learn English or not, because if we are not serious to learn English, no matter its free or with fee, we can not learn with good and we can increase our skills in English language. beside that, if we have strong will to learn something, then we can do it with free and we can asked other people to help us. its good for you if you want to open your service to help people to learn English, its depend on you, you want to do this by free or with fee.

Ah. Idioms and their context. When that happens with me, I immediately search for the meaning/definitions. Then, repeated exposure helps. (this forum's a great help as I, not only can familiarize myself, I could also build up my vocab.)

And true, natives do have a way with their use of phrases that just goes directly to the point. They eliminate the use of redundant, unnecessary words and their sentence structure is just too.. [sigh]  Cheesy

Anyway, as I have said, I doubt they'd offer to personally tutor/teach anyone for free. As that would be too time-consuming. Unless you're a close friend. So, either you just use the free tools and immerse yourself in the language/converse with them or

create a thread in services section and look for a private tutor with proper reward and all that. Goodluck.

It's an opportunity for people on this forum to earn money by teaching language to others. I think to pay a fee as you said isn't a problem and would be very welcome for who is spending time to teach others, it's a retribution sign.

But you don't need to be an expert in English to write on this forum, if you know the basic English, the basic rules, you are able to write here. The words you don't know, use Google Translate, it will be enough. If it's possible to understand what is wrote it's Ok.

language tutoring is a job. You can always search for volunteers who will be willing to teach you for free, but don't expect many offers.

The best deal will be probably "teaching exchange" as some English native speakers may be interested in learning your language.

But I think that native speaker tutoring is a more advanced way of learning, so unless you have already solid basics you don't want to learn that way.

It is better to learn English in order to participate in global discussion like in this forum to read better and to discuss better but I have saw some people who do not have polished English but they can understand the topic and they have a good knowledge about crypto currencies and can add some know;edge to the forum which is not bad. We have to focus on knowledge.

Paid classes can still sometimes be a good idea though because you get the authenticity of a genuine English speaker, which is hard to learn just by looking at people type.

Also, if you offer a Bitcoin related service then you can trust that what you learn will be directly useful to what you're doing.  There's no point learning about vocabulary for different types of clothes to talk on a Bitcoin forum - if these obscure things ever come up then you can learn it at the time, but that's a lot less likely than "full node" which you'd have to dig through for hours to actually understand.

Yes, but usually it's not a well paid job. Teachers need a lot of qualifications and experience, but still are being given scraps when compared to engineers and doctors, people that wouldn't have achieved much without the people that taught them to read and write. Wink

If you guys want to learn english you should try translating texts with the help of a dictionary or a google translator. Get a good book or an article in English and read it. Whenever you find something you don't understand look it up in the dictionary and write down the meaning. It really helps!

Most provably with fee. However, if there is someone who is willing to help for free, I still suggest you to give even a small amount (just a compensation) because it takes time and effort. If you or anyone here are just having a problem with the grammar, you can use gingersoftware, you can search it on google. They have a website and you can choose proofreading there to double check your sentence' grammar.

To improve english speaking skills, there are lots of sites where you can meet native english speakers and learn from them for free, https://www.wespeke.com/ is one example

Check this list too http://www.fluentu.com/english/blog/english-speaking-online/

To improve writing skills i think only way is to practice a lot with the help of online guides (either free or paid one) or you can search for institute near by where native speakers run classes.

Since when is it a requiremwnt for every poster here in the forum to have a perfect grammarto be able to communicate and share their thoughts with other people?
If you want to improve your grammar, the forum is really not the best place to learn, search in google because afaik there are several lessons in there.

I think that depends on what kind of lessons you will share, and people will value if it's worthy to pay for it.

It could be a good service and profitable if theres lots of interested people. Study your market and see if its worthwhile to start such a service.

Reading the posts in this thread alone, you could tell that most arent native English speakers and they need some lessons. It could also help improve the quality of posts in the forum.

I'm studying English pragmatics now, and it makes me a little bit confused. so I think it is better to learn from those who own the language.

well, grammatically correct posts is just another stuff probably the other users need.

knowing something doesn't mean you can also teach it. these two are very different.
for example I believe you are Indonesian, can you teach others speak your language?

the time it takes aside, it is always a hard thing. you don't know where to begin, what to tell others and how to simplify it and how much of it to tell them.
but the online resources are prepared by those who are experts in teaching that particular topic. that means it is prepared well enough for different levels to learn that topic. what you need to do is finding a good source for learning.
I always liked Lynda.com videos, although I don't know if they have anything on learning English I have always used their computer related stuff. (... cough .... you can find all of their videos through pirate torrent sites ... cough ....)
