microsoft visual c++ runtime library error on bitcoin core 0.14.0

Just upgrade from bitcoin core  1.32 to 1.4.0 , after upgrade , i ran it , few minutes after that  pop up error message >> microsoft visual c++ runtime library
This aplication has requested the runtime to terminate it in an un usual way. Please contact the aplication's support team for more information. <<
Trying to restart computer and start to run  again, but same issue still pop up with same message , i cant sync and do anything with this new wallet software . please help

Just upgrade from bitcoin core  1.32 to 1.4.0 , after upgrade , i ran it , few minutes after that  pop up error message >> microsoft visual c++ runtime library
This aplication has requested the runtime to terminate it in an un usual way. Please contact the aplication's support team for more information. <<
Trying to restart computer and start to run  again, but same issue still pop up with same message , i cant sync and do anything with this new wallet software . please help

Also 0.14 ran slower than 0.13.2 despite developpers promise it is faster and less resources consuming

I had to revert to 0.13.2 until this problem is properly solved.

Since you have such a low amount of ram, you need to set some parameters to reduce ram usage. Go to the Bitcoin Core data directory and either make or edit the bitcoin.conf file. Add in it these lines:

maxmempool=150

and then start Bitcoin Core. It should use less RAM and thus not crash.

I think it's recommended to have at least a dual core with 4 GB RAM, but that may have changed as 0.14.0 seems to use a bit more memory than previous versions.
