I did not want to open a scam accusation but this seems to be the only way of contacting this exchange.

I made a withdrawal of IEC from YoBit in 2016.02.13 (yes that is more than a year ago).
By now the chain of IEC has already died. It worked back then.

I have sent 5 support requests or maybe even more to get the coin withdrawal cancelled and funds credited back to the account. To this day it has not happened. It seems the support requests were never even opened.

What i would like is the withdrawal to be cancelled and coins credited back to the account.

Why wait so long? May I know the amount that is technically 'scammed' in terms of Bitcoin?

What is the point of doing that if the chain is dead?

The amount in question is around 25k IEC

As for why wait so long ? Well after numerous tries over the course of the year i understood there is no other way. The monetary value is not big, but im not going to let it just slide.

Point in doing what ? Crediting back to the account ? - Exchange still works.

The chain is dead, but it is still traded on Yobit is what you're trying to say?

For some stupid reason, IEC is currently trading on YoBit for ~600 satoshis/IEC. His 25k IEC is worth ~0.15BTC right now, so you can use that as the amount that was technically scammed. Market is here.

taking a break - expect delayed responses

Yes

Coins very rarely get delisted from YoBit and trading remains open even if the coins long dead.

Exactly, might as well buy some beer and do a small bbq for that IEC.

Personally I feel like Yobit has not gotten the negative trust that it deserves on this forum. They even have two positive trusts from DT members, even when there is like at least 1 accusation against them not responding to tickets or not withdrawing coins/depositing coins every month. Just take a look at the amount of negative trust with legitimate proofs on the untrusted feedbacks section.

They are known for their completely SHIT customer support, which basically don't respond to you if you try to complain to them.

Wallets can show as "online" even though they are not automatically depositing the coins, and markets can be active even after a blockchain dies, like in your instance here.

Yobit, step up your game. Otherwise nobody is going to continue using your service. I stopped using my account long ago on your site.

I can't understand now, is it better to start using yobit or not? Because I don't want to have prpblems on withdrawals, quick withdraw is in my favourite list. Also I read here that many people don't like their service and yobit only makes action when there is scam accusation thread. OP, did you get what you wanted from yobit?

My advice is to not start using yobit. There are plenty of other options around that are better maintained and the customer support is way better, like poloniex. If you want more coins, then bittrex has a ton of listings.

The main thing yobit is used for is shitcoin trading, there are a ton of dead markets that are still listed. You cannot request a withdrawal successfully nor deposit successfully, but somehow you can still trade the shitcoins for bitcoins.

The coins have been credited back to my account. Closing this thread as the issue has been solved.
