While there is nothing wrong with blockchain.info (I use it myself for small amounts), you do NOT have total control of your coins.

Websites can get hacked, and their owners can steal, there have been numerous examples already.

I would suggest Copay or Mycelium both are good wallets. If you require hardware wallet  Trezor is the best and safe wallet option.

Blockchain.info seems so waste to use nowadays due to increment for fees for every transactions. Then most wallet cannot encrypt easily by hackers as they secure search link and closed server security. Therefore we have complete control on our bitcoins in the wallet. If you have blockchain wallet you may see some pennies still in the wallet and unable to transfer it. This is why nowadays most of the people switching to coinbase or else desktop wallets.

In my opinion, I would recommed you coinbase and blockchain since they are both simple and easiest to use. Also, they are secured enough to hold your bitcoin. Though they added some charges for every transaction, it's still worth it to use since they are both convinient and friendly.

If OP does want to have fast transactions then web wallet is ideal but its risky compared to other wallets just like on desktop/pc wallet  and speaking with online wallets i would really recommend blockchain.info because this is safer compare on other wallet because you can already secure out your own wallet private keys which is good.

In my opinion, use a combination of paper wallet and blockchain wallet. Store your bitcoins safely in a paper wallet which you'll create off-line, and whenever you want to transfer some bitcoins, simply decrypt it through the combination of private & public keys at blockchain, and transfer as much as you want.

Online wallet is no need to download anything
If you want to using the software wallet you need to download it.

Hi I'm newbie here.
Anyone can recommend a bitcoin wallet to me? I want to keep some bitcoins myself and can easily transfer out also.
Thanks.
I recomend Blockchain.info a lot of people use it , have a lot of security measures and you will have the total control of your coins.

While there is nothing wrong with blockchain.info (I use it myself for small amounts), you do NOT have total control of your coins.

Websites can get hacked, and their owners can steal, there have been numerous examples already.
I thought Blockchain.info's owners had not acces to accounts because information is encrypted on the browser before reach the server.

Well what they say is ...

Quote
we are protected from hacks as all of your private keys are encrypted with your password before leaving your computer. We do not hold a copy of your password, and thus are unable to view or spend your Bitcoins. You retain full control of your private keys, so your wallets can never be seized or blocked and can be imported into any desktop Bitcoin client.

Now I have no doubt that this is true, as I said I use it too, but never underestimate the ability of bad people to find ways around anything.

Too many times sites have claimed to be ultra secure, no chance of anything being taken, all funds stored in cold wallets etc etc and either through hackers or malicious admins people's bitcoins have gone.

It's just my opinion that the more secure the private key (ie by only me actually having it and no-one else, or being offline) then the more bitcoins I trust there.

Also worth mentioning that the last bit 'and can be imported into any desktop Bitcoin client' is only true if you have the private key, if the website vanishes and you haven't previously got it, what then ?

Electrum with a hardware wallet (Ledger, Keep-Key or a Trezor) which protects your private keys. I don't use Bitcoin-Core because my computer is limited on space available and I don't feel like downloading the entire Blockchain due to time-factors. Now, if you want be completely safer, create a paper wallet and store in a safe environment such as a bank vault.

If we're talking about security, safest and most recommended bitcoin wallet options to keep some bitcoins for secure bitcoin storage were paper or hardware wallet.

The mobile wallet is mycellium
this is good enough for the mobile wallet. Any private key, you can control your bitcoin everywhere.
