If you don't mind m asking, what are you doing with your mined coins?
Saving? Selling on Luno/ ice3x etc, or selling on Localbitcoins.com ?
And what is your electricity rate?
I'm from South Africa too and am keeping my coins currently. I saved and sell where necessary and place a couple in wirex(Bitcoin debit card). Right now I've got around 260 S9's hosted in Canada with electricity less than 0.05$. Currently mining at BCmonster since I have a high hashrate. If you'd like why don't you give us a try and mine there. Less blocks but higher payouts. Looking at setting up a South African server for the pool. If you would like to know more PM me and we can chat Can you please give me more info on the hosting site? Your experience? When we expand, because we are thinking of renting a Industrial site for more miners, or do you thing the hosting site in Canada is a better option? Thanks

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

What is the temperature of your miners?
+-80° except for one chip that is 95°. I'm a bit worried about that one

Don't be. 95C is just fine. As said elsewhere, if temps get to around 105C - then - I would be uncomfortable with it.

Why would you suggest Luno to sell them? I just heard about them yesterday and some are saying they are based out of France. So you would need some kind of bank account from there or in the EU to be able to withdraw those funds if you do use them to sell. Yeah localbitcoins would be your best bet without having to fool around with submitting all you personal information just to be able to withdraw your bitcoin from your wallet with this exchanger.

Luno is a South African company that has gone multinational- you can do deposits and withdrawals into local South African accounts. Pretty much fuss free.
You do need to register and Fica , they are fully licensed, and as I understand it Naspers has a large stake in them. (Owners of DSTV, Multichoice, tencent,)
I've been using them since 2013 they used to be called bit-x
There is a big premium being charged by most traders in SA on localbitcoins

Hi there,
We are just starting out (small) and I am wondering if someone around Gauteng can invite us to look at their farms and extract some knowledge?

You can ask questions and I'll try to answer it. We are also still new, so we're no experts. We try to keep the farm's location private'
