I'm running Windows 10.
I'm running Bitcoin Core 0.13.1
I'm running Armory 0.95.1

I want to import a wallet.
When I click on the GUI element with text showing "Import or Restore Wallet" I get a pop-up warning:

Armory is currently in the middle of scanning the blockchain for your existing wallets.
New wallets cannot be imported until this operation is finished.

Within the dashboard I see 3 progress indicators which have been unchanging for an entire day.

Intializing Bitcoin Engine has a fully green progress bar.
Build Databases is grayed and has an unfilled progress bar.
Scan Transaction History is grayed out and has an unfilled progress bar with some additional text beside it displaying "0% 1 second".

This is a newly installed computer that I created specifically to use Armory.
I do not yet have any available Wallets.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

In Armory, go to File > Settings and uncheck the box "Let Armory run Bitcoin Core in the background". Stop Armory. Start Bitcoin Core. Start Armory again.

This will set Armory to not run Bitcoin Core for you; you must run Bitcoin Core separately before starting Armory. That should fix your issue.

Are the progress bars still there, or did they disappear?

Can you please post the armorylog.txt and dbLog.txt found in the Armory data folder?

The line with Intializing Bitcoin Engine no longer appeared.
The lines Build Databases and Scan Transaction History remained unchanged.

The txt files are very big.
I didn't see an option to upload a file with my reply.

I found a website online that didn't require registration and uploaded the files there.

For your reference:

I also used a new notebook to install armory last month.

Bitcoin core 0.13.2 need a week to dowmload all blocks. (if not, you cannot Import or Restore Wallet at first time setup of armory)

then Installed Armory 095.1, go to File > Settings and uncheck the box "Let Armory run Bitcoin Core in the background". Stop Armory. Start Bitcoin Core. Start Armory again.

need bitcoin core is running. then let armory build all blocks from bitcoin core that may take a few hours. Once complete, you can see armory online that means you able to import or restore your wallets.

I reinstalled Windows and followed the instructions provided to me.
The Building Databases progress bar has been given attention and has been progressing.
It looks like the issue has resolved.
Thank you.
