I've been doing some research on how Blockchain systems could be used for voting.  I think Blockchain offers some unique benefits for the storage and collection of votes.  I've read through some of the content on followmyvote and also found these apps being built by the BOScoin  people https://www.boscoin.io/?page_id=20

They seem to be building two applications, one where people vote on celebrities as a way to get people into the tech and test it with a user base.  The second is an application allowing users to place stake into decision making systems.  Both seem to be exactly the kinds of tests we need to begin looking at putting voting on the blockchain.  Has anyone else looked at BOSCoin?  Howabout other blockchain based voting systems?

Could these kinds of technology really change the way democracy works?

That makes sense, with these we can avoid cheats on the upcoming election. Nodes has the list of every transaction that is been made, even users cant look and manipulate it, it can be a good ballot.

There have been various voting methods proposed by some of the top schools in the country. None have been implemented that I know of.

Integrating blockchain for election will be a good way to counter all the fake stuffs that goes around and it has vast potential which is still unexplored till now.We have to come up with a solution to integrate blockchain and hope there will be a time when we use this technology when it comes to general elections . Interesting idea but I see a problem with such vote, in blockchain technology we have seen users using double-spend and cheating companies like Primedice and other gambling sites. How can we be sure that this will not be corrupted and a person to cast more than one vote ? If this will not happen on this voting system I agree with this.

They are being experimental which is good in my opinion because it means that they re doing something to how system works. With regards to your question. Yes technology can be a tool of changing the ideal thought of democracy

In any vote there is a group interested in real results and there are groups interested in fraud. Any result which will satisfy only one group is doomed to failure.

I think this idea will be like a cancer for African politicians.

African has the habit of stealing votes from opposition parties, I doubt that those who steal votes will see this idea as good.

They are being experimental which is good in my opinion...

The problem is how to force all countries to use this idea

One private key, one vote.

The crucial thing is how to make sure the private keys safely get to each eligible voter.

Would require a additional register for tying one real personality to one private key and the address belonging to it. That defeats the catchy slogan of bringing voting into the blockchain.
And once you need a centralized database you can stuff the whole issue inside that instead of using the blockchain.

The celebrity voting on the other hand could work out, but I would advertise that as monetizing the audience's votes. Like phone voting where you get charged for a call. And again, there is allready a solution in existence which has momentum and mass appeal.

I'm a little shocked. Sorry, my knowledge of bitcoin and especially in blockchain technology is very mediocre and that's why I do not understand a lot of things. I understand that Blockchain technology is unique, but what is its essence not to understand. I have already made sure that it is based not only on banking organizations and companies, but also on the central election committees of different countries, and this is very thorough.

I like it. However, at least in my country, a voters pass is coupled with the passport numbers. 1 pass per passport.

Should suffice I'd like to think.
