I apologize for the unplanned maintenance, but we're being upgraded so that we can handle a bit more.

We'll be back up anywhere from a few minutes, to a few hours.

This is not a DDoS or hack, we're simply upgrading the server.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

What did you upgrade from and to? If you don't mind us asking.

Wasn't really a big upgrade. It's hosted on a VPS for which I use for a few other projects, and I was running low on space (damn you bitcoin for being so bloated, 10gb+ blockchain =_=), so I had my disks upgraded.
