Hi, Im pretty new in this bitcoin mining thing so bear with me here for a sec Smiley
I joined slush's pool just recently and found to be in a dilemma....

1) Im I a stratus miner or not? (I have regular comp with 2x6790 Radeons soon to be 3x6790...
2) Im using GUIMinner and have selected slush's pool but still getting the "old" address in settings ..... Never the less, everything seems to be working, Im getting statistic etc etc .... So now I dont know should I switch to other settings or not?

Thats two questions that are bugging me for now, if I think of something else I will post Smiley

On Slush's site, click 'My Account' and it will tell you in your miner info - a green 'YES' in the stratum column and everything's fine.

So, I have to manually change settings in GUI minner to stratum settings with same username and pass?

Guiminer should default to stratum on slush's pool, if it's not showing in your miner stats though, I would set it manually.

And one more thing? What will happened to my current shares, not much so far, around 2500 but still Smiley Will they stay on my account or?

Current shares will stay, no problems there.

I'm on 'stratum3.bitcoin.cz' on port :3333 - and it's working on stratum fine.

EDIT: your stats will not show your on stratum until the beginning of a new round - you have to be on the whole round for it to register (if i'm not mistaken).
