You wouldn't mind providing a Feathercoin address, and signing a message with it for me, would you? (To confirm you have the FC, and are in control of the coins)

The best place to find an exchange rate for the FC is well, here in the forums, what others are willing to take, there is not an "actual" exchange rate, yet......

I have never heard of feathercoins. Can you point me to a good resource on them?

Call me old grumpy but if I had any bitcoins (!) I'd very much be loyal to bitcoins and only bitcoins.

No other digital currency is ever going to be really popular or useful until bitcoin succeeds (ie becomes readily recognized and accepted). All the other little copy-cat currencies are just confusing and diluting the bitcoin brand.

Heck, one of the rather silly objections to bitcoin is exactly the fact that "anyone can produce their own version", bitcoin 2.0, 3.0, diginuggets or whatever. Really that shouldn't make any difference. The existence of yen doesn't devalue the dollar for example. However right now we're trying to establish the concept and the brand, so it doesn't help to have people waving other currencies around.

I'm all for free competition, so I'm not saying 'don't offer them for sale'. I'm also for free speech, so am using it to advise others to "Not buy anything except bitocin".

Sorry about that.

I think the presence of Asics are diluting the bitcoin brand in itself, consolidating processing power into the hands of a few, the exact opposite of what bitcoin was originally meant to be.

Has anyone used that Google Docs exchange that has been floating around in Alt crypto?  How do people typically effect these trades?  No escrow set up that I know of - just pure trust?

I want all 2500FC for 25LTC
To be sure you have FC please send me 10 FC at this address
6nDoXyjz6FDAroUjAEwwasugwo6ttEchai

I'll will send you 5LTC and then you'll send me 500FC

finally i'll send the last 20LTC and you the last 2000FC

I think this is fair

Ok, I still have 2500. But this is the way I do business, as the seller. - You will send to me first, 5 LTC, I will send you 500 FC, we repeat this process 5 times until you have 2500 FC, and I have 25 LTC. This is the way I have always done it and the only way I will do it. - So, I have your FC address, if you wish to proceed, please start the deposit of 5 into my LTC address - LX8gtUiBYDgvpzmF3zG2pvGAVLJLvtExEN - If you do not wish to do it this way then we cannot make a deal. I will standby -

As you can see"HashHunter" wrote to me about purchasing Feathercoin. I am not trying to scam anyone. I asked "Hashunter" several times because he failed to respond if he was still interested. It is unfortunate that we have people like him here giving other a bad name when nothing took place. I make transaction's all the time, and never had a problem, that is the reason I trade in Blocks. I could say the same thing about you Hashunter, for refusing....
