I disagree when talking about things that the general public has little awareness of.

People glaze over about 10 seconds after you start talking about Bitcoin  Cheesy

In western countries with high trust in their fiat money, sure. Typical response is "why do I need bitcoin when I can just use money?", and its a fair question when you're not talking about it in an investment capacity.

However I don't think you have the issue with glazed eyes when talking about Bitcoin in China and India (capital controls), or Venezuela and some African countries (failed currencies).

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Sure.  But it can't be used as a currency there, too few transactions, too high fees.

I think it is just getting started. If we take the last price hike of bitcoin as a reference and see what the altcoins did there, it took a few months after bitcoin collapsing for the altcoins to grow and collapse. Two/three coins are now leading the charge and they are enabling other coins to grow with them.

Not day to day coffee style transaction, no. But they can probably use altcoins for that.

It looks like a bubble to me, increasing price 1000 folds in a span of few days is definitely a bubble. But some alt coins are just increasing because of the price of bitcoin crashing. A natural effect if you ask me. If the price of bitcoin recovers, that bubble will burst.

Its bubble for me, these BU FUD starts to do something crazy and right now their followers starts to create a bubble. So for those traders that has a good pump for their coins better sell it out before the bubble pops or you will regret it in the end for being confident. Btc will rise again and that's for real.

Altcoins are on the rise because of the hard fork fears triggered by Jihan Wu the chinese trolll and roger ver the rich lucky early investor in bitcoin (why did this idiot have to have so much money?)

once this is resolved, the alts will crash as always.

Or maybe people are realizing some altcoins are actually offering more than what bitcoin is offering them, why wouldn't you mine, trade and adopt using an altcoin if the network and teams behind the development are like bitcoin's?
DASH is now reaching some momentum and if everyone keep buying it and no whale dumps big then why would it be a bubble?

Title says all. Personally I vote bubble. Anything that increases 1000x is too good to be true IMO.
in my openion this is just like the investment assets then is a way to make money in legit ways .
Here it is truth that daily new new altcoins are coming in the online market and also few of them are going also but in actual these the main source of income , so instead of saying it as bubble we should consider them a legit way to make money and nothing .
