i got two people interested already so there are 3 of us already. two miners, and someone interested in buying around 1K usd worth of bitcoins. I dont have that many bitcoins but if someone else in LA was willing to meet up with us we can sell him some.
and maybe other miners/buyers can get together and exchange also.

I use to belong to a linux group and we held our meetings at a Dennys. They have backrooms and if you buy food they let you in. I would not go to someones house.

Interested too but I live in Orange county, bummer. Santa monica is 50 miles away from me =(
None the less I think meeting up is a great way to get this movement going since its way easier to use btc face to face if both persons have a cell phone with a bitcoin app on it.
If anyone wants to do a meetup in orange county, would love to join.
