New records for Alts?

Has any major alt ever traded consistenly above 0.1BTC, something that isn't called 21 or unobtanium, just a plum normal alt?  Obviously ZEC was way above that for a while, but has settled in below it.
Now DASH could pass that in the near future.

Has any alt ever had 25% of the market cap of Bitcoin before? ETH basically has that now. I don't think litecoin ever got close.

I am not saying that I think that the alts will overtake Bitcoin, but even though Bitcoin is at a historically high price, alts are at all time highs against Bitcoin. I mean ETH has a higher market cap now than Bitcoin did in 2015!

Dash was not the only altcoin that had a price record this weekend. Ethereum rose nearly 15%. Earlier Sunday morning, Ethereum rose from $ 2 billion in market capitalization for the first time. Bitcoin showed little to no movement yesterday, holding levels it had on Friday morning, before the ETF's SEC denial.

yeah there was an altcoin, and i'm not talking about 42 coins or something so rare that force the value to be very high, it was called Aurora, many remember the mighty aurora airdrop, it was pumped and traded for a a certain time above 0.1, which was very high at the time and look like it was still high for current pumping's trend we have today, dahs is very near to touch that record, i'm waiting for that

That's true i just saw the price of eth i actually got a shock and then seeing the price of other altcoins i kind of agree to you monero 20+ , eth soon 50+ dash , etc. You can't tell it is replacing bitcoin as this is start so you can't say anything for now but altcoins is doing there thing like other metals do like sapphire, emerald.

ETH is over bought! i dont think any alt coin will surpass BTC. the uses of eth look good on paper not in the real world.....

Man 95% of alts have 0 real use case. and many of them have like 50m+ market cap.
Now we have fun time on alts because many EASRLY BTC adopters dumped BTC for alts but that can not last forever. Till BTC have its scaling problem they have traction once problems is solved in any way alts will go down most of them.

ETH is not that bad and will rise over time with their applcation for sure. BTC to rise needs to end scaling "drama show".

I share the same sentiment this is not the right time for eth to overtake Bitcoin not even in another 5 years and once the scaling "drama ends" it's another start for bitcoin to gain more grounds,but it's always worth to have eth .

We can also consider that we have a new record for altcoins, the record of pumps per day. Look at Poloniex : today BTS, yesterday MAID, who know what will be tomorrow. There is lots of pumps lately, and from all my time trading here, I never saw this. There is a kind of craziness at the moment.

I would say alt coin really steal everyone attention this year, so many alt coin that become stronger and got huge increase in price and it was not only happened to 1 alt coin but several alt coin, I think there are more people aware of alt coin now, that is why they started to see alt coin as an valuable thing and seeking alt coin as investment, but each of us got a different alt coin, if all of us focus on 1 alt coin, then the coin can become bitcoin rival
