@epicfailman, @kangwie I use two GPU, undervolted and 1261mhz-861mV core, 1950 mhz-861mV memory with 230watt at wall. I've modify my command line in: gatelessgate.exe --gpu-platform 0 -k nist5 -o stratum+tcp://pool.solariscoin.com:3032 -u tony_crunk.worker1 -p x -d 0,1 -I 20
with 16.22Mh each video card. I suppouse sgminer and gatelessgate have same performance... I can try it...
niest5 depends from GPU or memory?
I got better results with SGMiner 5.5.5 than with Gateless Gate. Intensity setting of 128 works well, intensity setting of 256 is too intense and leads to crashes. Algorithm "talkcoin-mod" "nist5" same thing, same hashing speeds. Set a high fixed fan speed. My SGMiner .CONF file looks like this: { "pools": [{ "name": "Solaris", "url": "stratum+tcp://pool.solariscoin.com:3032", "user": "LoginName.WorkerName", "pass": "WorkerPassword", "profile": "solaris" }], "profiles": [{ "name": "solaris", "algorithm": "talkcoin-mod", "Intensity": "20", "worksize": "128", "gpu-threads": "1", "gpu-powertune": "20" }], "default-profile": "solaris", "no-extranonce": true, "no-submit-stale": true, "temp-target": "75", "auto-gpu": true, "gpu-fan": "55", "temp-cutoff": "85", "temp-overheat": "90" } Try that and compare to GatelessGate.

What other pools are available or how can we solo mine? The only pool I see has such a small hashrate compared to the total showing on the network.

The config file for the Solariscoin wallet (located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\solariscoin by default): rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=18921 rpcuser=WALLETADDRESS (same for mining) rpcpassword=PASSWORD (same for mining) daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 addnode=185.183.99.171 addnode=185.183.99.19 While I am not sure that this is required per se, it always makes sure you have at least 2 active connections to the blockchain (hopefully). To solo mine, first make sure that your wallet is up to date as it is the one that sends the work to the workers. Then I use gatelessgate-0.1.3-pre3-win64 to set up the mining for Solariscoin. When you download that, or if you already have it, make a .conf file for it that is formatted like this (This is for an RX 480): { "pools": [{ "name": "Solaris", "url": "127.0.0.1:18921", "user": "WALLETADDRESS", "pass": "Password", "profile": "solaris" }], "profiles": [{ "name": "solaris", "algorithm": "talkcoin-mod", "Intensity": "18", "worksize": "128", "gpu-threads": "4", "gpu-powertune": "0" }], "default-profile": "solaris", "no-extranonce": true, "no-submit-stale": true, "temp-target": "75", "auto-gpu": true, "gpu-fan": "55", "temp-cutoff": "85", "temp-overheat": "90" } (I get ~23 Mh/s solomining) Change the settings to accommodate your mining setup. After your wallet fully syncs up, launch gatelessgate.exe. If you get hardware errors, I either explained it horribly or you messed up. Anyone else is allowed to add info, in case I missed anything. Also, question to the others: Is it fine if the block on the website block explorer is different than the block stated on the client block explorer for the same block number, and that I am 2 blocks in head of it?

How do you get it to start mining from the conf file?

How do you get it to start mining from the conf file?
It automatically uses it if you run the executable file (gatelessgate.exe) and not the .bat files.

Doesn't seem to work for me. It opens and says I must provide at least 1 pool address and ask for an IP etc.

My wallet files had no config file so I copied what you had and made one. I then made a conf file in the miner folder with what you had. Then tried opening the exe, but it ask for a pool IP. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
