I'm using an 110V outlet (RIP). I know that 220V is better, but what risks do I need to keep in mind given I'll only be running one 6 GPU rig?

My setup is 6 RX 480s with an H81 PRO BTC (no messing around with 7 card boards) and a cheapo pentium.

What am I looking at for power options? I would prefer something not too loud like a standard ATX PSU, but I'm not sure which ones I can use.

Also, molex vs PCI-e risers? I'll be buying them from hawkfish007.

110v means your wires will carry double the amps of the 220v system so you need to do some calculations and know how much amps your AC wires can carry.
You need to go for high quality psu like evga , corsair

Do you have a recommendation for a PSU and riser combo?

I don't do riser rigs, but a Seasonic X1250 (gold), X1200 (Plat) , EVGA G2 1300 (gold), or the EVGA plat option in the 1200ish watt range should be plenty of PS for that rig, and will run comfortably on a standard US residential 15 amp circuit as long as you don't put anything else on the circuit (or something VERY small in consumption like a LAN switch).

You might be able to get away with the 1000-1100 watt range versions of those power supplies, but that would be pushing it a bit hard unless you are undervolting and watt limiting the rig a LOT.

I'm running on a 220v system with 6gpu and EVGA P1200 runs good. My current circuit breaker is 20amps.

1200W good gold PSU should be enough.

Also, molex vs PCI-e risers? I'll be buying them from hawkfish007.

Depends on your Amps as well. For instance my breaker has 13A outlets distributed across about 6-7 outlets on the floor where I have my miners. I have 230V. They all go to the same circuit so I can basically run 230*13 = 3000W MAX for all outlets. I'm at ~1800W currently with 3x 6GPU rigs, so I still have some margin but plans are to upgrade all of this to 20A outlets.

But at 110V if you have 13A (that's up to you to know) outlets that's only 1400Watts. With a 6 GPU rig you will be OK but you probably won't be able to add a second one.

The main concern is fire hazard because your wires are only capable of running a certain Amperage. Once you go above what the wires in your home are able to carry, you're main risk will be the wires catching on fire...

As for the risers, it's a personal choice really. I only have molex risers and have no issues with them. PCI-e risers might be safer/better but you'll need a PSU with enough PCI-e slots.

will a 1000 watt psu like the EVGA supernova be enough for 5* 480 rig?

How about 6* 470?

Fail to plan, and you plan to fail.

For 5 cards? Easily. For 6? I would recommend undervolting. But I have been running 6 cards at stock speeds/volts on the RM1000X with no problems, drawing about 950W per system.
