it has been great and i am wondering how many of those who were saying bitcoin is too expensive at $1200 are buying right now and how many are still afraid and waiting for it to go back up to $1200 and repeat saying it is expensive

i don't think we can see "much higher price" yet because the FUD has not stopped and we are in a depression stage where everyone is sad and many given up and they dump while those whales are buying slyly

if you watched the market yesterday (14 hours ago) when price dropped to below $1000 you could see the 100BTC 220BTC initial dumps above $1000 and then you could easily see the big buy walls as big as 650-720BTC be placed in one order on bitfinex at about $940-$960 to buy back.

actually i really suggest watching the market, it is both fun to watch how whales are toying with others while newbies panic and also you learn a thing or two.

I can`t afford to be so optimistic.I think that this price fall will be stable and the price will return back to $1200
during the summer.
Anyway, i sold my bitcoins for $1450 per btc and made some profit, instead of holding thm while btc loses value.

mmm, the rise may not happen today or this week but it certainly won't take 4+ months to go back to $1200. many have been already buying back in the $9xx range.

Anyway, i sold my bitcoins for $1450 per btc and made some profit, instead of holding thm while btc loses value.

are you sure you sold to $ as in US dollar? because there has been no exchange with $1450 price unless you sold for something like paypal or some other country's dollar which is worth less USD

I don't think so, If the hardfork will be real in the future and we will see the another three decimal from the bitcoin itself. To many the shills attacking the bitcoin in this day and it will continue again.

The price I think will climb up more in the next coming weeks so buy now since this is a good opportunity to buy at sub 1000$ and right now it is at 1000 USD current price according to preev moving upward and downward. Currently price is at average $1010 while an hour ago was at $1002 just sit and look like a carrot and be a bystander losing on such great opportunity or be bullish and deposit as much fiat as you can to buy bitcoins to accumulate and sell when price rises to plus $1200 again.

That's why I maintain the position that every time is a good time to buy so far you can afford it, and ready to live with the outcome of whatever the result of such decision brought up. Even at $950 those who wont buy wont still buy because they will be sceptical that what if the price will drop further, then I can buy cheaper unfortunately the price is going higher then they will say let me wait again for it to come down to $900 which might not happen in another 3 months.

i believe the "scared period" is over now. and price is becoming stable while day traders are talking full advantage of this volatile situation to make their daily profit with the rise and falls in a big range going up and down!
HODL is the easy and safest choice in situations like this when everything is crazy and unclear though.

Internet dramas tend to be persistent and this HF drama will suppress the prices as long as there is no resolution.
That said it might be very profitable to swing trade here - buy back the dips sell the dead cat bounces - but it is not that easy.

This is actually the perfect time to purchase bitcoin we can experience a bit more drop maybe to 900$ but i think this is the perfect time to actually make a 2 year long investment. For sure. This is what all day traders look out for. I am a day trader myself, and I personally wouldn't mind these fluctuations to continue bounce up and down for a few more days. Since the panic isn't over yet, I think the chances are pretty high to have more profitable day trading opportunities in the coming days.

Correct. However, people put themselves into great danger as they quite often happen to invest money that they can't miss in their personal life. It's dumb and makes them do even dumber things (e.g. panic selling at a loss, and buying back at higher levels). If you invest with money you can't afford to have invested, the you can't make any proper decisions. All your decisions will be based on emotions.

When the Bitcoin Unlimited price does clear, the price will sky rocket again. You will lose out to people who took a bit of risk and bought bitcoins now. You won't get another chance to buy at these prices again, unless there is a hard fork.

I don't know, I think that a lot of people are pretty optimistic.  Sure there are going to be people who weren't prepared to take the heat and they'll panic sell or make some bold claim about why Bitcoin is dead, but generally I think Bitcoin is looking up, at least after a couple months from the fork.

When the Bitcoin Unlimited price does clear, the price will sky rocket again. You will lose out to people who took a bit of risk and bought bitcoins now. You won't get another chance to buy at these prices again, unless there is a hard fork.

This sudden fall was most probably triggered by rumors on activation of bitcoin unlimited. But investors again showed their faith on bitcoin ecosystem to get into action to buy back so that prices are staying around $1000 level so strongly. I do believe there will not be any chances for ever to buy at this price levels if we refuse to make use of this fall down.
