Hi there. I just found out that coinmedia is filled up with sites using traffic exchanges. The entire first page is filled up with them. Sites with no alexa rating, no similarweb rating, while they got 100s of thousands of visits daily.

It seems that coinmedia simply does not care about it. Therefore i would warn everyone to not advertise on their platform until these sites get banned.

Lets take for example "http://www.bitcoinvsprice.com"

They have  220000 visits every 2 days, but no alexa rating, no traffic indicated on similarweb, and 0 clicks.
Same goes for

http://www.bitcoin-gator.com
https://goldfaucet.000webhostapp.com/
http://z7btc.info
http://www.zonebitcoin.com
http://www.invest-mba.com
http://www.bitraid.top
http://www.bitcoinraw.club
http://bit-co.in.ua/
http://annacoin.ru/
http://acico.top

And this is just the first page of them.

I've sent them an email regarding this, but as of right now i have not yet received a response.

If you check some of the sites with the fake traffic, they dont even have coinmedia ads sometimes  Huh
I used them as a publisher, they sucked, for advertisers they'll suck even more because of this.

Thanks for sharing this!

Thats indeed very weird, and if i may ask, with which advertising networks did you replaced coinmedia? Would love to know that.

Coinzilla, adbit.biz, a-ads and bitmedia.
Adbit pays really good but cant really find any proof of them really paying though.
Coinzilla is a very trusted network pays good CPM and CPC i got a CPM of ~9000 sat and get around 250 satoshi per click.
A-ads pays also really good if some campaigns come on your ad.
bitmedia pays me bad but since i already got quite some money on there ill keep the bitmedia ad on my site till i get payment.

These can affect if you start network campaign. But I think if anyone manually choose website for advertising and check it's stats and then start advertising, he will get good results.

Exactly, but people barely start campaigns specifically site based, I think only 5% of my earnings on coinmedia come from direct campaigns.

This means that legit publisher are really getting hurt aswell by these people with their fake traffic.

They are literally sucking up all the ads, which leaves an unmonetized site behind for real publishers. In the last 24 hours I've only received 11 satoshis per hour, because there are no network campaigns left.

You're absolutely right. Legit publishers always suffer for these. I am expecting CoinMedia will become advertiser-less soon if they allow these happenings continuously.

wow, I thought so too.

I don't use any ad networks but my own these days. Wink

Mostly because of all the scams being promoted on the other networks.
