What happened: User markabi sold at auction 0.5BTC worth of Adalso.com credit. I was the highest bidder until 4 secs before the end of auction. I was surprised when I received a PM from seller asking for payment to given address in exchange of the Adalso credit. Out of curiosity I PMed the winner of the auction and it turns out he got the same PM except for the bid amount to pay. This is clearly a scam.
A 3rd bidder also reported to have received the same PM.
If he PMed all bidders with bids above 0.01BTC as he said, he attempted to scam ~0.1BTC

Payment Method: BTC

Additional Notes:

Apparently user is the owner of Adalso.com website. More users have reported this website as a scam not paying out what is owes.

EDIT : In PMs, user refused the use of an escrow. Here is the BTC address sent via PM : 1PLBNcu3tHv7LXKa77QcVLQpU7RPMtTDdU

It should also be noted that I received a PM from the user despite my highest bid not qualifying for either of the criteria specified by the OP. I'd assume he sent the same PM to every one who bid on the auction.

I'll wait to see what happens, though currently it looks like the user was looking to get whatever money he could and leave.

Please note that markabi is an alt of donaldbitcoin who was red marked for promoting a Ponzi.

Also note that this user recently went out not paying his faucets users .  He is also the owner of Cetobeto.com and many more faucets + also some of the advertising networks which also ran without paying its users.

Proof of connection can be found here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1737759.msg17391937#msg17391937

I apologize for not putting a feedback then. I will soon add a feedback to all of my alt findings so that it can be helpful for the others to see and take necessary steps to conduct a safe deal.

This guy should have honestly been tagged way earlier, but it is good justice served him. His advertising network is a scam aswell, he never pays out his publishers, The only thing you can do with the BTC you earned is advertise on his site, where you can get 1000 popups for 0.01, which is, compared to other adnetworks such as mellow, a ridiculous CPM..

See this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1232813.0) of people which have requested a payout but never got it.
This is just an example, there are way more people whom also experienced this.
