Hi, I wanna ask a question because I don't find enough information with google search, thanks for your help
I have several question about bot, I don't really know how to program out of maple, just few basis... if... while... so on 5ALMOST NOTHING°
I have two questions :

1) I would need a bot that automatically place a buy order on the top of the book order, because when I put a buy order and automatically a bot put a buy order 1 satoshi higher than me its very tiring to manually put the price higher, is there a bot that i could download now that makes it ?

2) I would like to program later my own bot, but i dont know which language to use ? is python the best ? how to start ?

is bot never free, if you want buy , my recomended is use GUNbot
iam smile if you want get free download bot, but you want edit and own from edit bot and then you selling bot is you get free

maybe you should change your strategy! buy at market price or leave the order be until it is filled. the spread is usually not that big if you buy at the current price (buy from asks) and if the spread is big then that altcoin is not such a good one.

but as for bot, there are expensive bots such as C.A.T (has been around for a long time) and Gunbot (new) there are others I can not recall right now.
and there are open source bots you can go to Github.com and search for poloniex bot and find them or libraries you can use to build your own. and they are free since they are open source and mostly under MIT license.

there is no "best language" all the programming languages are good and they can do almost anything. they each have pros and cons.
many like Java, other python, others C++, some C#, ruby, ...

I have heard python is easy to learn so maybe that can be a good option for you.

As Pursuer mentioned, C.A.T. is a good, reputable bot that's been around for a long time. The developer still maintains it regularly and updates it.

Problem is, it's permanently tied to a single [Poloniex] account. If you ever lose the account, it's a hassle to get it changed by the dev.

You could get detailed regarding this from the services section. Recently one of the forum user posted in services section for selling of bots and will be shipped through out the world. It could be better to contact those people who are already into it and know about which language is being used.

and how much cost a bot only to place order on top of the books ? cause really its so annoying, my order never get filled because one guy put it one satoshi higher or lower, its totally unfair, i need 15 seconds to put myself on top and he needs not even 0.5 seconds, when the spread is 2% it makes it totally unfair, it should be either forbidden either the platform should directly offer this function.
I want a bot doing it for kraken and poloniex coins, how much it cost for doing only this ? help

Why are you not trying for use the STOP-LIMIT feature on the polo? It looks like the right thing for you according to your question.
It does not need bot.

no you maybe misunderstood me : i want for example a bot that would do the following process : put my order on the top of the buy order book, up to a limit, for example i set : limit 0.095, if there is a buy order at 0.094 then thebot will put a buy order at the price 0.094000001, if someone put a bigger buy order than me, then the bot will automatically increase by one satoshi from his order, until we reach the price of 0.095, there it wont move anymore, i want this and only this, and the stop limite that you are talking about on poloniex, isnt doing this at all

Too many people worry about having a bot in place like it is the only way to profit assuming that it will bring them Bitcoin without putting in any effort, when really what you should be doing is spending more time studying the coins and market trends. This would surely be time better spent than worrying about having a bot for this, or a bot for that.

But the bot is not can actually put or change your order every time. Assuming if there are a lot of the orders in every minutes and It will not possible for the bot to put a new price in every second.

i am guessing not.

what OP needs is a pretty simple (not good) script. you either check the orderbook with 1 sec (or according to the limit) intervals using the REST API and cancel and open a new order on top of it.

some exchanges even offer open Sockets where you get the live data and can do it easily and live (again within the limits).

to OP, have you checked the suggestions so far, or contacted the creators to ask them if they have such feature, yet?
