Top 5 Altcoins to Trade/Invest

I've been trading ExclusiveCoin this morning, made a bit of profit, jumped on the PIVX bandwagon, hopefully it's still got a way to go before the inevitable crash.

Also keeping an eye on WBB and Storj / Burst.

So if you are an altcoin trader, (like on poloniex or similar platform)

What are your top 5 altcoins at the moment to trade for profit or invest in?

1. Bitcoin
2. Lisk
3. Ethereum
4. Litecoin

These are my fab four for the moment. Everyone of them is rallying good. Lisk has risen by 40% in last one week.
Bitcoin is already epic, ethereum is now officially number two by disbarring $100 and Litecoin is already writing history by implementing Segwit

Nice, seeing quite some Iconomi mentions here, i thought it wasn't as popular.
My list (arranged in no certain order)

• Iconomi
• Ark
• Darcrus
• Stratis
• Edgeless

But i invest in these coins, that aren't at the top yet. So if you like to play it safe, Etherium and Bitcoin is probably a very good option too. Not that sure about Ripple.

Funny that all the alt coins are going lower while bitcoin is rising higher and higher.

Contending with BTC for the price is a dream of every altcoin I guess. 
In my opinion the best altcoins right now to trade/invest are LTC, ETH, Stratis, Ripple and Zcash. I dont trust most of the new altcoins so only this much.

If for this month Edgeles is not suitable for investment use because EDG prices are falling, Now EDG rate is bad and every day the price is always down, maybe the traders have no interest anymore with EDG

There's a few other smaller ones too.. forget their names and I'm at work.  I focus on coins that don't promote anonymity.. for the block chain to attract commercial interest you want transparency.

I'd take LTC before BTC, ETH, and Ripple at this point but XEM before any of these. Best tech.  Basically I'd put money in XEM and LTC for "storage" when I'm not in the smaller altcoins... Best relative percentage appreciation potential, though really XEMs tech is 10 steps ahead of LTC.

I'm still researching so keep posting coins. . I'll take em all and make a big poll for voting.

Growing my Bitcoin is my main goal, beside 5 altcoin I choose a couple altcoin have potential too like XEM, XRP, GUP and EDG.

if you want fast take profit in trading you can choose coin with big volume transaction
1 ethereum (ETH)
2 monero
3 riple
4 litecoin

but if only have low capital money is good altcoin trading use coin is low price, example dogecoin

That seems reasonable in a way but I think that even having about $40 for trading it's okay to try with those worth around $20. So, you just buy 1 or 1.5 of a coin which is starting to grow in price and has been quite stable over the last month and wait till it becomes twice as much. Then it's up to you whether to make it a long-term investment or withdraw, earn some money out of it and try with another coin.
For me there is a big problem with trading that you need to create new wallet for each currency and spend some time finding out how it works. That's what stops me from being a trader.

Yeah already eth monero etc. have a high price already and you need also a big amount to invest and that could really give you a good profit but you can also start at low rate coins when you dont have a big amount to invest you can do that in coins like str,btm,xpm to start a capital of around 10-15$ and that a good start for you when your just started trading.
