of course it is overstated
blaming bitcoin for funding terrorists is same as blaming knives for killing people
besides the majority of terrorists are state sponsored ( ISIS anyone?) and they don't need bitcoins to supply them weapons,Toyota cars etc.
but this sort of articles prove that bitcoin is assigned to be your next value holder and to possibly replace the staple ones like gold etc.
would have been too easy to just say,hey bitcoin is the main tool for terrorists funding,throw a couple of examplary "discoveries" of transactions,
then add mutilated children pictures and bitcoin would be a pariah forever
