Hello all new to the forum hope i am posting this in the correct place. I am in need of help with my nicehash miner.
Rght up till last night i have never had an issue with mining through nicehash always use the most up to date software etc...
Last night i stopped my mining so i could do a few unrelated things on my pc, Once i started mining again i seem to have a problem with mining equihash as it no longer seems to want to connect even though i have changed no settings at all.
I was running nicehash version 1.7.5.5, I mine with both my CPU and GPU. My CPU mining still seems to work fine (usually cryptonight) and is happily sending shares. However my GPU largely mines equihash using the eqm.exe but in the panel i get a continuous loop -
connecting to equihash.eu.nicehash.com:3357
connected!
connection lost! reconnecting in X seconds.
This will just continue and continue. I have put exceptions in my firewalls and anti virus for all mining software i have even gone as far as to completely turn off all firewalls and AV but didnt solve the issue. I then removed ALL minng software from my pc downloaded the same version and started again. Still the same issue. I then tried the newer 1.7.5.6 pre release and still have the same issue.
I have then made nicehash use other GPU mining for example lyra2rev2 and neoscrypt which seem to mine as normal. The connection issue seems to only be with the equihash mining and i am stumped as to how to resolve this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated if any other information is needed please ask away.
