I don't have a technical run down list for ya though.
I usually don't care much about that stuff anymore.
I was trying to work on miner programs a couple years back and when i stopped i lost interest in the technical side i think.

But just look at the complaints from Bitcoin users about confirmation times..

because it's accepted by many merchants, over 100 or 200 i don't remember now, are acceting bitcoin, can you say the same for other altcoin? of course not, because they are only used for speculation, yes bitcoin has technical problem like slow block time and bad block limit, but the pro overcome the con with bitcoin

Confirmation complains will be solved, segwit brings a 4MB (3.~mb), as soon as it actives, 4x more transactions will be processed for each block.
Plus, lightning layer (if adopted) will introduce instant pays (if i got it)

Bitcoin is the best because it had more time then any other crypto for development, as iamnotback said, he had the time to get polished, but many other projects are some what close to bitcoin's "finishing", just avoid following projects based on their price, as a lot of project's token price is faked, manipulated, and doesn't reflects the technical level of the team behind it.
Bitcoin's technical level is really amazing, plus it is open source, and collaborative, not all the other projects can arg so, and this is why it's price is high, and why he is my favorite currency.

best in doing what? you should first clarify what you mean.

a best long term investment? yes absolutely.

a best short term investment? not the best because altcoins get pumped and in short term they give much more profit but they get dumped right after so they are terrible as long term investment.

a best in developing? yes, since it has the best developers team that have been working on the code and reviewing each change and testing it to death to protect bitcoin as it is.

a best in sense of security? yes it is using cryptography algo that are strong as much as possible and as much as needed.

a best in distribution of the supply and having a good inflation rate and over all a good economical outlook? you bet your ass it does

a best in decentralization? yes. the way it works is the best decentralization compared to others.

a best in network security? yes it is because it has the most number of nodes, spread all over the world and the number of them is high enough to protect the network as the bankbone of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the best crypto because look at those alt coins, Most of the features of alt coins are copied from Bitcoin, It is because Bitcoin was the first crypto out there and first crypto that has a high value. Today when i look at Bitcoin it is best on marketcap an volume but...
alts are rising on BTC civil war miners vs core.
centralization in mining is cousing that 75% asic chips are manufactured by bitmain
most BTC mining is in China and we have now war china miners vs west developers.
This is allso best coin war that you can seen.
China miner thinks that 1$ fees will last forever and free market won't feel hole.
China communists thinks that people will pay 1$+1$ fee for transactions worth 1$ and users are tards.
