Edit: I found the link but when I signed up there is no bonus and I am upset because you promised something free but you didnt fulfill your end now you got my info and gonna email me every day but I got nothing and also no chance to play.

Many sites have done it and don't giveaway anything to brand new or newbie accounts to protect your giveaway from abuse. This is one of the options you can implement: a giveaway here in forum where you can exclude newbies or users which have a low number of posts (for example 100 posts). I think is much safer than using Facebook message option. The fact that there are lots of member here with alt accounts, I don't think so. Seems that there's a small chance of getting rid of giveaway abusers. Just choose the method that you think could lessen the abuse. So far Ayers' suggestion would do well in my opinion. |
