it is the follow up of the fluctuations and the fear that the FUD caused in the market.

and 1116$ was not a few hours ago, it was about 24 hours ago. and no we are not yet ready for $1287 or whatever.

Just hold your Bitcoin tight, do not be carried away by FUD.  It would be better to forget about your Bitcoin today and just remember it 5 years after.  Bitcoin will recover but it will need time.  I think there is someone playing with the market.  This isreally wild fluctuation  and I know someone is losing money and another one is gaining an enormous amount of profit from this volatility.

nobody can tell you about what will happen to the price. for now, maybe waiting can be a better option rather than doing anything at all. but also that can mean missing the chance to buy in since the rise will also happen fast and out of your control.

It will fall lower. And we will see it soon. After that itss likely that we finally go up again. But yes, we will make 1 more downmove. So much whales arent cashing out because there is nothing to worry about. Stay frosty guys. Dip incoming.

Indeed, it keeps rising again really quickly in matter of minutes - seems like another speculation of big whales. I guess I will wait. Another dip is bound to come. I just have to be patient

Rumor is just a rumor. The split of chain will never going to happen still which is why those exchanges who already have their BCC and BCU on their list are just selling you bets. You need to read thier news because it says "if after December 2017 and the splitting of the chain doesn't happen, they will return back the coins" so for those traders who already accumulated these coins, they will have to buy back their btc after december of this year.

We are all manipulated by this splitting rumors and the exchanges wants to make money with it.

It is pretty normal in bitcoin cause the price would keep on fluctuating,
We don't really know when will the price go up and when will it fall.

if it is rumor them it is rumor not reality. and how long do you think people are going to believe a rumor? 1 week, 1 month or forever?

let me help you. this is not the first rumor or FUD that we have seen around here and it is not going to be the last one. these always disappear just like how all the hard forks will.

if you can't do anything to change the price i think it will be good if you hold your coins for a while, until price back to $1287 or you can trade it to altcoin ( not really suggest it ) but it is better than hold and do nothing with your coins

Don't worry about minor price shifts, just be happy that traders are not panicking because of hard fork news and we have no mass selling.
As long as Bitcoin's price is above $1000 I call it pretty normal situation. Fork is still years ahead IMO, I don't expect it will happen in 2017.
Bitcoin Unlimited is supported by 1/3 of miners, we didn't observe any significant boost of BU hash support recently.

Nothing is wrong with the price, no room for panic. Although people seems to do exacly this, panic all the time on the slightest alarm. These minor price fluctuations are completely normal and part of Bitcoin volatility but in times like this with ETF and fork circumstances sometimes it seems they influence it. The price is still above 1000$, so for now everything is normal.

It's nothing to worry man it's common with bitcoin as it recently suffered a dump so the price will take few months to recover from this.
And ya if you bought at $1287 and plan to sell in short term then i think it is bad but if you plan to sell it by next year then you can get a good profit of maybe 400$ or maybe more.

FUD spreading again? This is typical of the bitcoin market price right now. FUD, BU and others causing a portion of dip in the price. Just don't panic just hold on and everything will be fine. The price is still good isn't it? I'm sure in a few days in will recover and we are in the $1200 - $1300. I speculate that next week we area steady at $1200 and slowly the price will climb where it used to be pre-ETF at $1300.

Haha thanks for the profit. There always has to be someone that buys higher and sells low. That's just how the bitcoin economy works. It'll go back up once this hard fork crap is settled for good.

You bought pretty high, but that shouldn't be that much of a big deal as long as you keep holding. If you have some fiat left, then buy some at current levels and save some for when the price falls down even further. It will average down your buying price and result in more profits in the long run. If you don't have any fiat left to buy with, then just wait for the market to recover. I must however state that you'll need a fair amount of patience with BU fud dominating the markets.
