Getting started with Bitcoin

Hello everyone,

It's not been a long time since I discovered Bitcoin and it fascinated me. I have created wallets online and with some software. I need help with some things though.

Should I use an online or a software wallet? I have searched around and people say that software wallets are much better.

How can i add funds to the wallet you will suggest? I tried adding funds on Blockchain but it won't accept my credit card. I live in Greece if that makes any difference.

It depends the bitcoin amount u have and your activities.
If ur btc is big, then u should use cold wallet like trezor to keep your btc.
software electrum is popular.
 
Online wallet is good for you when u always do transaction.
If your use is non-gambling, then u can use coinbase. If coinbase support your country then would be more better for u.
I also keep on blockchain but i no use credit card to buy there and i use bitcoin exchange.

You can use xapo too as it support credit card and it also got visa debit (if im not remember wrong)

Go to local bitcoins.com you can even meet and pay cash in hand. You can sell and buy there. There many dealers to choose. You soon will find someone who you stick to or even a few you stick to. I have about 3 dealers I normally sell or buy from because sometimes the one is not online so I sell to the other. You can have a look at that site it should help you. Also if you want security with large amounts of BTC use an offline wallet. If you want fast and smaller transactions you can use on of the many online wallets available. I recommend blockchain.info.

Software wallet is better than the web wallet based on my experience.
You tried to buy Bitcoin in cex.io? I think you can buy Bitcoin their using your credit card.

A software wallet is better but not everyone has the space or wants to download it. On 24/7 is ok but I'd you don't do that and want to make a quick transaction you will have to wait for the wallet to sync.

Localbitcoins is always an best place to buy and sell your bitcoins as there are many trusted traders with good trust ratings so they will never try to scam you by putting their reputation at stake and when it comes to using wallet then I think Electrum is better then blockchain.
